On October 23-24, 2021, the "2020-2021 National Academic Seminar on Architecture Education in Colleges and Universities and the Dean's Department Chair Conference" jointly sponsored by the Teaching Guidance Subcommittee of Architecture in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and Harbin Institute of Technology, and hosted by the School of Architecture of Harbin Institute of Technology, was held in the School of Architecture of Harbin Institute of Technology.
Following the one-day theme lecture meeting on the 23rd, on the morning of the 24th, the sub-forums of the conference were held in the auditorium of the School of Architecture, the 226 lecture hall, the 246 multimedia classroom, and the 404 open space, focusing on the themes of first-class architecture majors and first-class course construction, the concept and method of architectural education combined with general and professional, public environmental safety and architectural talent training, and the innovation of information technology and professional teaching mode, etc., and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges in a combination of "online + offline". A new exploration of the basic spatial form teaching method of architectural design - the reform practice of the basic teaching of architectural design in the ada architectural experimental class of Shandong Jianzhu University, the teaching of architectural design in the first grade sketch based on physical experience, and the cultivation of design awareness in basic architectural education were shared and discussed academically.
