"Please rest assured that we are here very well"

Five students, Wang Shaoqiang, Chen Xiao, He Xiang, Song Yiruo and Qiao Mengyuan from Northwest A&F University, have been teaching at Baotan Township Middle School in Luocheng County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, more than 1,500 kilometers away from the school.

Baotan Township is located in the southern foothills of the 90,000 Mountains in the Miaoling Mountains of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, 61 km from the county seat of Luocheng County, Mulao Autonomous County. Recently, teachers from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University visited Baotan Township Middle School to teach students. When the teachers asked how the three-month volunteer teaching life was, the five students replied: "Please rest assured that the school is very good here."

The primary school teachers excitedly took the teachers to visit their dormitories, as the first batch of the school to come to Guangxi to support the teaching team, everything started from scratch. From kitchenware and daily necessities to all kinds of appliances, tables and chairs, everything needs to be purchased by them a little bit.

It is also in this process that the primary school teachers are deeply warmed by the enthusiasm and simplicity of the villagers of Baotan again and again. "There is Teacher Zhong who brought us corn late at night; There are Principal Wu and Teacher Lan who invited us to our homes; there is Principal Qin who picked us up for dinner at home during the Mid-Autumn Festival; there are supermarket owners who helped us carry large express deliveries; and there are teachers who tirelessly helped and comforted us." Talking about everyone's concern, the little teacher and Xiang xiang are like a number of family treasures. "Slowly, the dormitory has a home feeling, and life gradually settles down." The primary teachers told reporters happily.

If life brings students moving, then getting along with students brings more to the primary teachers is shock and baptism.

Wang Shaoqiang still remembers that one day he was taking self-study in class, as if in response to the storm and lightning and thunder outside the window, the lights in the classroom suddenly went out, and the classroom instantly fell into darkness. What to do? Some students proposed to sing the national anthem together, so on the night of wind and lightning, a loud and neat song came out of the teaching building. "I will never forget the excitement of that night!" Speaking of this matter now, Wang Shaoqiang is still full of shock.

"The five students adapt to the role quickly, and it is a great blessing for the children here to come to our county and our school." Qin Qingyi, principal of Baotan Middle School, said.

In less than 100 days of volunteer teaching life, the five primary teachers have a clearer understanding of the basic situation of the students, and at the same time soberly realize the mission they shoulder. A year's volunteer teaching time may not be long, but everyone hopes to do their best in a limited time, do a good job in various education and teaching work, and use the silent fraternity of moisturizing materials to stimulate children's enthusiasm for learning and the spirit of rising, and open a window to the outside world for their hearts.
