On August 31, Beijing time, Liverpool officially announced that it had renewed its long contract with captain Jordan Henderson.
Liverpool officials did not disclose Henderson's renewal period, according to previous media reports, Henderson will sign a 3+1 contract with Liverpool.
Henderson joined Liverpool in 2011 and officially became captain in 2015, making 394 appearances for the Reds to date, helping Liverpool win important trophies such as the Premier League title and the Champions League.
Prior to Henderson, Liverpool had contract extensions with Van Dijk, Fabinho, Alisson, Robertson and Alexander-Arnold.
