The Princess and the Frog (1)

author:Bookworm's reading notes

Once upon a time, there was a princess, her father, a king who owned ten cities.

The princess grew up carefree, her father was busy with state affairs all day, and her mother was in charge of the palace, so she often played alone, and sometimes, she felt lonely.

One day the princess came outside the palace and walked into a forest.

The forest was already dark, and she saw a faint light in front of her, so she walked there curiously.

When she looked closer, it turned out that the light was emitted by a small, delicate carriage. The carriage is made of the finest wood and is studded with gemstones.

There was a horse-drawn carriage with an ornate necklace hanging from its body, and the surface of the saddle was embroidered with gold thread.

The princess was admiring the carriage when a frog stepped out of it.

Hello, I am the owner of this carriage, please are you?

I am the princess of this country and it is a pleasure to meet you. Your carriage is so beautiful.

Thanks for the compliment. If you wish, you can get in the car and let's go to the forest together to play around and see the scenery.

The princess grew up so old that she had never ridden a carriage with anyone other than her parents or toured the forest. So she happily got into the carriage and sat down with the frog.

The frog took the princess and went all over the forest, meeting many new friends, including nightingales, larks, little raccoons, little rabbits, and so on. They were very kind to the princess and everyone had a great time.

The princess played in the forest for a day, and before dark, the frog sent her to the exit of the forest, and agreed with her that they would play together the next day.

Sure enough, the next day, the princess and the frog spent a pleasant day in the forest, and this time they met a lot of new friends, and everyone played games together, ate wild fruits in the forest, drank nectar, and was very happy.

The princess fell in love with the forest, where everyone was circling her, and how interesting their lives were.

So the princess went to the forest every day to play. Gradually, she became attached to the company of the frog.
