As one of Chekhov's masterpieces, "Uncle Vanya" has been born for more than a hundred years, and the influence of this work on the whole world has never diminished.

American theater historian Pete Stowwell said: The most essential feature of the play "Uncle Vanya" is that it shows people waiting in still time.

For "Uncle Vanya", which has been adapted and rehearsed many times around the world, what kind of temperament is it under the interpretation and presentation of Beijing Renyi? With his unique aesthetics and interpretation, director Li Liuyi returns the stage to simplicity and nature, allows the characters to intersect time and space in stillness and flow, and allows the audience to calm down and get closer to the essence of Chekhov and enter an eternal spiritual world.

Pu Cunxin: "Uncle Vanya" is one of my favorite works, and this version of "Uncle Vanya" is unique, its stage is a different space, completely using the performance of the actors to let people feel the scene of the theater at this moment.

Lu Fang: As an actor in the space where there is a pause on the stage, sometimes the mind will follow the plot, and sometimes it will jump out, like the audience to feel everyone in this pause.

Niu Piao: Director Li Liuyi's approach is a major feature of this "Uncle Vanya", he requires the actors' performances to be particularly real and concrete, but removes those specific props.

Convi: This "Uncle Vanya" can be used as a "lifetime" for my stage performance. At one point, I suddenly felt like I wasn't on stage, I seemed to be able to see myself, and there seemed to be a powerful current coming up behind me from the left side of the stage and pushing me. I said that line unexpectedly well, a feeling I had never felt in my previous acting experience.
