"Two sides of the long causeway and three sides of the willow, a garden of mountains and a garden of lakes", here is the Jiang Zhuang in Huagang Park, and it is also the memorial hall of ma Yifu, a master of traditional Chinese studies.
During the Republic of China period, Jiang Guobang, a wealthy merchant in Nanjing, bought the former Xiaowanliu Hall and renamed it "Lan Yan Villa", commonly known as "Jiang Zhuang", to support his mother. Jiang Guobang rebuilt the house here, planted flowers and trees widely, and also took his very respected teacher, Mr. Ma Yifu, to live with him.
In the courtyard of Jiang Zhuang, there are two tall century-old trees - Guangyulan, these two days, walking into the courtyard of Jiang Zhuang, I smelled a faint fragrance, looked up, only to find that these two century-old trees have inadvertently blossomed.
The flowers of the magnolia are shaped like lotus flowers, so they are also called lotus magnolias, the flowers are as white as jade, and the floral fragrance is refreshing.
In addition to these two ancient trees in Jiangzhuang, the magnolias on the main road of Huagang Park have also blossomed, and there are brilliant hypericum under the magnolia trees.
In this increasingly hot weather, you may wish to come to the flower port to explore the fragrance of magnolia flowers and find the brilliance of hypericum.
