Shaoyang County belongs to the old revolutionary area, with beautiful mountains and clear waters, a long history, rich tourism resources, and great potential for tourism development. In recent years, in order to speed up the pace of poverty alleviation and build a well-off Shaoyang as soon as possible, Shaoyang County has taken tourism development as an important industry for poverty alleviation, established a county tourism development work leading group, and the county tourism bureau is specifically responsible for the research and demonstration, planning and design, project declaration and organization and implementation of tourism development.
The "Shaoyang County Beautiful Township (Village) Two-Day Tour" tourism resource development project plans to invest 3 billion yuan, and the main contents of the project construction are Tangtian Wartime Lecture College, Lü Zhenyu's Former Residence, Furong Peak, Xiangshui Cave, Jigongyan and other red landscape scenic spots; Heboling Scenic Area; Jinjiang Lake, Peacock Beach Lake, Slag Beach Lake, Peach Blossom Island Ecotourism Scenic Spot; Tianzi Lake Wetland Park; Dam Creek Folk Culture Landscape Belt; Che Wanyu Cultural Site and other tourism resources development. The construction project of "Shaoyang County Beautiful Countryside Impression Sanmenjiang Rural Cultural Tourism" plans to invest 500 million yuan, and the main content of the project is the restoration of ancient villages, the imitation of three ancient archways, supporting parking lots, farmhouses, rural inns, water parks and health and wellness projects. At present, Shaoyang County is intensively organizing the implementation of the project.
