The three cabinet elders of the Chen family, Chen Zhixuan has a collection of poems passed down to the world, Chen Yuanlong once compiled a large-scale book "Ge Zhi Jingyuan", Chen Shizhi ruled the study of the five sons of the Song Dynasty. In addition, Chen and Jiaoya good opera, leaving more than ten kinds of miscellaneous dramas; Chen Yong, Chen Zhishen father and son carved cong post "YuyanTang Post" and "Bohai Hidden Truth"; Chen Yixi was good at writing; Chen Bangyan wrote the "Kangxi Dictionary" Imperial Preamble. Chen Zhiyi's "Floating Clouds"

Chen Zhiyi (1605~1666), zi yansheng, retired, the first of the three elders of the Chen family in Haining. Ming Chongzhen was a scholar for ten years, Qing Shunzhi served as a Rebbe Shangshu for eight years, and was awarded the hongwenyuan university scholar for nine years. He was later impeached and exiled to Liaodong. In exile, he wrote a collection of poems", "Floating Clouds", with themes such as natural mountains and rivers, farewell to friends, and life perceptions. In the name of floating clouds, it shows that he has seen through the world's fame and fortune, glory and wealth. Chen Zhiyi's wife Xu Yi, gong poetry is good at painting, and the deep affection between the two has also been passed down as a good story in later generations.

The first chapter of the Qi, Zhu Wen "Imperial Gift of Sun Rock", the fallen chapter Bai Wen FangYin "Chen Yixi Seal", and the Zhu Wen Fang Seal "Liu Jian". Chen Yixi (1648~ 1709), the character Liu Qian, also the character Zi Wen, Wen Yi, the number Of Xiangquan. In the thirty-ninth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the Kangxi Emperor greatly appreciated his calligraphy and summoned him to the South Study. He served as the prefect of Shiquan Province, Guizhou, and in the forty-seventh year of the Kangxi Dynasty, he was promoted to the prefect of Southwest An, Xiuxue Palace, Zhi of The Prefecture of Guizhou, and Xingwen Jiao, and died in the year 62. Chen Yixi studied calligraphy from an early age, and his calligraphy was taken from the Fa Jin people, which had a great influence among the scholars and scholars at that time. Chen Yixi had no meritorious name, but because of his good writing, Kangxi promoted him to the South Study, and then let him go to the prefect.
As a generation of scholars, the sons of the Chen clan have quite a good calligraphy, including the inkblots of Chen Zhichang, Chen Yixi, Chen Yuanlong, Chen Bangyan, Chen Shiqian and others are displayed in the exhibition. Chen's calligraphy style is mostly the authentic "Thesis" of "Erwang", Zhao Mengfu and Dong Qichang, which is round and beautiful, and the characters of Chen Yuanlong and Chen Bangyan are quite praised by the emperor. Only Chen Yixi's style is changeable, he can jump out of the barrier of Dong Zi, see the value of the North Monument, and integrate it in calligraphy to create a "fragrant spring body". Shiren commented that he was "calm and mellow in large characters, no frivolous attitude, small characters are stable and feminine, proficient in small letters, known for his cursive writing, and good at making large vertical axes". Together with Jiang Chenying, Wang Shifeng, and He Zhuo, they were known as the four great masters of the book world during the Kangxi Dynasty. Chen Yixi's character is the undisputed first place in the Chen family, and he also has his place in the history of Chinese calligraphy.

The book is 139 cm long and 38.6 cm wide. Transcript: Mr. Hengqu Yun, for the heavens and the earth, for the people to establish a destiny, for the ancients to continue to learn, for the world to open up peace, for the way of learning should be like this. Mr. Shingo's cloud, the body of Taishan Qiaoyue, the belly of the sea and the sky, the color of the wind and rain, the eyes of the sun and the moon, the hand of the spinning dry and turning Kun, the foot of the pillar of the stone, the heart of the deep and thin, the bone of jade and ice. That's the way to be human. Signature: Chen Shiyi, an old man with yellow hair in the late spring of Peng Yin, was a cousin of the year, and was seventy years old at the time. Zhu Wenfang sealed "Chen ShiQi Lian Yu Clan Chapter" and "Lotus Yu Resident".
Chen Shikuo copied the "Four Sentences of Hengqu" by Zhang Zai, a great Confucian of the Northern Song Dynasty, expounding them as the way of learning; and transcribed the famous words of the Ming Dynasty thinker Lü Kun to expound on the way of being a man, which is the highest realm in which Chinese traditional knowledge elements pursue to be a man and learn. Chen Shiyi wrote this scroll in the late spring of Qianlong Pengyin (1758) (the third month of the lunar calendar), and it is clearly recorded in the "Biography of the History Museum of Chen Shiyi" that Chen Shiyi died in April of that year. Within a month of writing this axis, Chen Shiyi died. It can be seen that even in the late life, he still did not forget the pursuit of ideals. Although Chen Shiyi lived a lifetime, he never lost his true character as a scholar.
There is a rich cultural connotation behind the Haining Chen family, including ge lao, Hanlin, legends, gardens, calligraphy, and poetry. Chen Zhixuan, Chen Yuanlong, Chen Shiqian, Chen Bangyan, these big names left in the history books are not only names, they are also living people, but also have their own joys and sorrows. Due to the limitations of conditions, this exhibition can only show parts, and cannot display more vivid content.
