The Lü opera "Bitter Cauliflower" is adapted from Feng Deying's long red classic novel "Bitter Cauliflower", which is set in the Kuncheng Mountains of the Jiaodong Peninsula during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and vividly depicts the arduous struggle of the local people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China for freedom and national liberation.
Lü opera "Bitter Cauliflower" was first performed in 1997 and is the representative work of the famous Lv opera performance artist Lang Xianfen.
