Today is a good day, and it's also a good day for the fans of The Walking Dead. That is, Maggie will return in season nine. Maggie's character, Lauren Kohan, revealed that she had reached an agreement with AMC. In promoting her new film 22 Miles, Lauren Cohan said:
"I'll be back, and there's a lot of Maggie's story to tell." As for whether Maggie will duel Rick in season nine, Kohan said: "You know I can't tell you anything".
During the filming of The Walking Dead, Lauren Kohan filmed the film 22 Miles with actors Mark Wahlberg (Transformers 4) and Ronda Russi (Fast & Furious 7). Shortly after Kohan's contract with AMC ended with The Walking Dead season eight, he signed a previously rumored contract with ABC's Whiskey Cavalier.
If AMC decides to pit Maggie against her ally Rick, Andrew Lincoln (Rick's character) is ready for what might happen in season nine.
"She was horrible, it was like a blast when she came over, it was really crazy to think about, it was definitely a big twist and the show started to get interesting. Kohan is a wonderful actress, she is so real. What she represents is a powerful force."
The ninth season of "The Walking Dead" will be broadcast after mid-October this year, friends, catch up.
