Anelis Marie" Annelies Marie "anne" Frank was born on June 12, 1929.
Anne is a Jewish girl born in Frankfurt, Germany, and one of the most famous victims of the Holocaust in World War II. She used her 13th birthday gift diary to record the "Anne Frank Diary", which experienced World War II from June 12, 1942 to August 1, 1944, and became a famous witness to the extermination of Jews in Nazi Germany during World War II. In 1945, Anne's entire family, except her father, died in the concentration camp.
Her diary was discovered and preserved by Mae Pud Gies, and in 1952 after World War II, it was republished as The Diary of Anne Frank, becoming one of the most widely distributed books in the world.
In 1999, Anne was named to Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World of the 20th Century."
