King Langya: You may not know those things?

author:The prodigal son of Han Shui

The title of Wang Jue is generally derived from the name of the country in the Spring and Autumn Period, and the four titles of "Qin, Jin, Qi, and Chu" are traditionally the most honorable, because these four titles represent the most powerful countries in the Spring and Autumn Warring States period, followed by "Lu, Zhao, Wei, Liang, Yan, Dai, Chen, Han, Song, Wu, Yue" and other grades. But in history, there is also a king who is also very well-known - the king of Langya.

King Langya: You may not know those things?

First, the earliest king of Langya appears in the history books

The earliest to appear was Liu Ze in the early Western Han Dynasty, who was the same family as Liu Bang, the ancestor of Han Gaozu, and was a distant cousin of Han Gaozu. Although he belonged to the same sect, he was a distant relative, and his merits were also very limited, and it was said that he could not be crowned king. During the Liu Bang period, he was awarded the title of Marquis of Yingling for his merits.

However, the opportunities are all won, and this Liu Ze has a lot of merit in dealing with the world. When Lü Hou was in power, during the massacre of Liu's clan relatives, Liu Ze, with the help of Tian Sheng, a Qi state, befriended Lü Hou's close attendants, and because his wife was the daughter of Lü Hou's sister Lü Su, he was made the King of Langya.

Second, the prolific emperor of Langya

We all know that the king has the opportunity to make a dragon chair. Counting carefully, we can see that the King of Langya has a good chance to stand out.

The first person to successfully ascend to the throne was Sun Xiu, the son of Sun Quan of the State of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. When Sun Xiu was eighteen years old, he was crowned the King of Langya, and at the age of 23, Sun Qi, a minister of wu state power, launched a coup d'état, deposing Sun Liang as the Prince of Huiji and welcoming Sun Xiu as emperor.

During the Jin Dynasty, seven kings of Langya eventually ascended to the throne, namely:

1. The ninth son of Sima Yi, Emperor Xuan of Jin, younger brother of Sima Shi of Emperor Jing of Jin and Sima Zhao of Emperor Wen of Jin. After the establishment of the Western Jin Dynasty, he was enfeoffed as the King of Langya County. During the "Rebellion of the Eight Kings", Emperor Hui of Jin was forced to abdicate, and he was proclaimed emperor without authorization, and the era name was established.

2. Sima Rui, Emperor of the Jin Dynasty, founding emperor of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Great-grandson of Sima Yi, Emperor Xuan of Jin, grandson of Sima Ling the Prince of Langya, son of Sima Xiao the Prince of Langya, and son of Sima Yancong, Emperor Wu of Jin.

3. Sima Yue, Emperor Kang of Jin, grandson of Sima Rui, Emperor of Jinyuan, and son of Sima Shao, Emperor of Jinming

4. Sima Pi, Emperor of jin, grandson of Sima Shao, emperor of Jinming, and son of Sima Yan, emperor of Jincheng

5. Sima Yi, emperor of the Jin Dynasty, was the younger brother of Sima Pi, the Emperor of Jin

6. Sima Yu, Emperor Wen of Jin, son of Sima Rui, Emperor of Jinyuan

7. Sima Dewen, Emperor Gong of Jin, grandson of Sima Yu, Emperor Jianwen of Jin

During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Northern Qi had a "half-rank" Langya king player who successfully ascended to the throne: Gao Yu, Gao Zhan's third son. He was initially given the title of King of Dongping, and after Gao Zhan's death, he was renamed the King of Langya. The reason why it is "half-position" is because his emperor is the "Chu Gong Lai Emperor".

Three, the sudden disappearance of the King of Langya

The last verifiable king of Langya, Li Chong of the Tang Dynasty, the grandson of Li Shimin of Tang Taizong, was crowned king of Langya County, and was killed in defeat because of his rebellion against Wu Zetian's rule.

After that, the king of Langya, a legendary prince, withdrew from history.
