Cui Qi: Help others achieve a better version of themselves

author:That little thing in the woods

Under the epidemic, some people have stepped forward and some people have gone up against the current. This year, next to the vaccination team of the Forest District Hospital of the Oriental Red Forestry Bureau Co., Ltd., there is always a busy figure, sometimes instructing residents to wear masks, sometimes reminding residents to prepare their ID cards... He is Cui Qi, an ordinary but extraordinary post-90s boy who has contributed in his own way in the face of the epidemic.

Cui Qi runs an agricultural company in the Oriental Red Bureau, and in the epidemic prevention and control battle, he is not afraid of hardship and danger, and takes the initiative to participate in the frontline of epidemic prevention and control in the community, and works with the staff to protect the safety of the community.

Cui Qi: Help others achieve a better version of themselves

During the epidemic prevention and control period in early 2020, the people in the forest areas kept staying at home and not going out. Cui Qi's wife had just been three months pregnant, and her family was opposed to volunteering. However, under heavy pressure, he resolutely threw himself into the frontline of epidemic prevention in the community and served the masses wholeheartedly.

Cui Qi also took the initiative to report to the community and set up his company's stores as prevention and control card points for the staff on duty to rest and store epidemic prevention materials. In front of his family, he chose to give up his small family for everyone, and in front of his interests, he chose great love. "I was born in the forest area, grew up in the forest area, as a forest area person, I have the responsibility and obligation to participate in it, contribute to the epidemic prevention work in the forest area, and protect the safety of the staff and workers in the forest area." His simple words permeate his love for his hometown.

Cui Qi also used private cars as publicity and broadcasting vehicles for epidemic prevention and control, and when epidemic prevention materials were in short supply, she paid for masks and other epidemic prevention materials out of her own pocket and distributed them to frontline workers.

Cui Qi in ordinary life is also a very caring person. Due to the frequent delivery to households, Cui Qi has a very good relationship with the surrounding farmers, and anyone who has a big problem or a small affair in the family is willing to ask him for help. He always did his best for everyone's affairs, and everyone affectionately called him Xiao Cui.

In the summer of 2020, Wang Xiuhua, an elderly man living alone in the village of Wuqi of the Sixteenth Committee, accidentally broke his arm at home, and after Cui Qi learned the news, he hurriedly drove Wang Xiuhua to the hospital and accompanied her throughout the process. After Wang Xiuhua was discharged from the hospital, Cui Qi would visit every day, do some hard work, and often buy some fruits and vegetables to send to her home. Under Cui Qi's meticulous care, Wang Xiuhua's arm quickly recovered.

"You are my dearest person!" Wang Xiuhua took Cui Qi's hand and said.

Once, when Cui Qi was going to the village to deliver goods, he accidentally found that the yard of He Jingjie's family in Xinfu Village was full of muddy water. Cui Qi didn't say a word, drove his own dump truck, and loaded a cart of furnace ash pads in the courtyard of He Jingjie's house. Seeing the neat and dry yard, He Jingjie was so moved that he could not speak.

Little things warm people's hearts, and gather great love to show responsibility. In the past two years, Cui Qi's deeds have been featured in the News of the Oriental Red Forest District for many times, and he has won the May Fourth Medal of Youth of Heilongjiang Province and the Advanced Individual of Young Volunteers.

"While helping others, I have achieved a better version of myself." Cui Qi has always been immersed in the joy of helping others.
