Fishing in the natural waters today is already a lack of resources, and in the past period of time, overfishing has led to a sharp decline in the number of aquatic species, especially some illegal electric fishing vessels, taking advantage of the low progress of night energy, on the surface of the river. After being charged, the fish not only grow slowly, but also lead to the loss of reproductive ability, which seriously damages the ecological balance.

Seeing the dwindling number of wild aquatic animals, the state initiated a ten-year-long fishing ban. With the implementation of the ban on fishing in the Yangtze River, various provinces, cities and regions have also introduced regional fishery regulations according to the survival of regional aquatic species.
