The 2016 Atlas Eight Nations Men's Basketball Challenge will be held from June 14 to June 19 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. For the Japanese team, the Atlas Eight Nations Men's Basketball Challenge will be a very important warm-up opportunity. In July, the Japanese team will travel to Europe to play in the Rio Olympic Games. Today, the Japanese team announced the list of players in the Atlas Eight Men's Basketball Challenge. Core players such as Yuta Taku, Takeuchi Anduchi and Shin Hieshima were all selected. At last year's Asian Championships, the Japanese men's basketball team won the fourth place and was able to participate in this year's Olympic Games. Of the 12 people who participated in last year's Asian Championships, only Mt. Arao missed this Atlas Challenge, and the Japanese team almost sent the strongest squad to participate in this competition.
