A corner of the exhibition
When people visit any large gun, defense, and security exhibit, there are certainly more kinds of weapons on display, often with incredible results. Especially when these visitors are visiting with a camera and taking pictures, when he arrives at a particular booth or stall, if he goes to a giant armored personnel carrier or other exhibit, he will probably think," he will probably think, "Did I take pictures there?" Or think, "Should I take a picture later or when I come tomorrow?" And when he checks the camera memory card at the hotel or at his accommodation, he thinks, "Where is the picture I took with a gun at booth x?" ”
Of course, this kind of thing will also happen to the many visitors to the Latin American International Defense and Security Exhibition (laad 2019) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in early April 2019 – including me (the author of this article, the same below) - here are some photos of the exhibition that I quickly took on site and related text descriptions.
M197 type 20mm rotary tube gun
The first to be shown was a heavy weapon, at which Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) exhibited the T129 Ataka Advanced Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter, which was actually developed and manufactured in cooperation with Italy (based on the Agusta A129 Mongoose helicopter). The lower part of the front of the helicopter is equipped with an M197 type 20× 102 mm three-barrel rotary tube gun, with a standard ammunition capacity of 500 rounds.

Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (ST Kinetics) continues to exhibit the company's 9×19mm compact personal weapon. The gun has been around since 2008, but has not been used by any military unit or law enforcement agency. And in fact, the manufacturer's staff is not particularly clear about the actual status of the project, the gun shown is equipped with an eotech optical sight, the serial number is very small, a00006 number.
The gun adopts a semi-free bolt type, with semi-automatic and fully automatic firing modes, the barrel length is 180mm, the retractable stock is adopted, the unfolding length is 597mm, the retract length is 393mm, with a 30-round magazine, and the full gun weighs 2 kg when the magazine is full.
HK UMP-9 submachine gun
Germany's H&K's UMP-9 submachine gun (in German: universal maschinenpistole) is not actually a new gun, but a small Brazilian naval weapons platform at laad 2019 has a muffler version of the ump-9 submachine gun on display, which means that this configuration of submachine gun has begun to be used in the unit, and the marine corps special mission battalion has long used mp5sd SD6 type micro-submachine gun.
However, it's no secret that the old-fashioned SD submachine gun is still their preferred gun for missions. In addition, Brazilian army units are also equipped with UMP-9 submachine guns.

Two 5.56mm caliber ar carbines
Although the standard rifle of the Brazilian Marine Corps is the Colt company's M16a2 type 5.56mm rifle, some special units also use carbines, including the M4. The carbine above in Figure 6 is Colt's scw sub compact weapon, fitted with a 4x aacog optical sight and a red dot sight, Shenhuo's Socom556 type silencer was also installed.

The Brazilian Combat Industry Corporation (indústria de material bélico do brasil, imbel) exhibited the 5.56×45mm caliber IA2 optional firing mode rifle, which is now equipped with the Brazilian army and is fully replacing the 7.62×51mm fal rifle and para-fal rifle produced by the same manufacturer.
The rifles on display are fitted with Knight Arms' m4qd (now known as kdss nt4) m4qd silencers, Ibeg mx-t 3x optical sights (which can be mounted in series with Ibeg light red dot/reflective sights in series on the front), and Kamigy's km3 tactical lights.
Aglc bolt-action sniper rifle
It appears that the Brazilian Combat Industry Company is working to improve and give it a new breath of life to its Mauser-based Aglc 7.62×51mm bolt-action sniper rifle. As can be seen from the photos, the gun has replaced the original traditional wooden stock with a new polymer material, while the new stock adopts an adjustable design, which can also be designed with user needs in mind.
Siegsauer exhibits
Siegsauer attended laad 2019 with all their might, where they set up a very large booth and displayed a large number of exhibits of pistols, submachine guns and rifles, and visitors can actually feel it, and the mcx series of modular 5.56×45mm rifles is shown in Figure 9.
