Little Berry will begin watching the film on December 23, 2018, while serving his sentence at Lawrence County Jail.

Animal protection investigators estimate that Berry Jr. and his family associates killed hundreds of deer over a three-year period. Last October, he pleaded guilty to illegal wildlife poaching.

The case concerned his father, David Berry, as well as his brothers Kyle Berry and Eric Berry. Three of his relatives were also arrested after years of investigation by state, federal and Canadian law enforcement agencies and environmental officials. The family has paid about $51,000 in fines and court fees.

Conservationists say this is one of the largest cases of deer poaching in the state's history.

Lawrence County Prosecutor Don Trotter said the deer were illegally caught as trophies and most of the hunting time was at night.

Officials said there were other suspects in Kansas, Nebraska and Canada.

The Missouri Conservation Commission said in a statement that the hunting, fishing and trapping privileges of Berry SR and Berry Jr were revoked for life by the Missouri Conservation Commission.

Eric was revoked for 18 years of hunting and fishing privileges, and Kyle was revoked for 8 years.

Jeremya Klein was also part of the investigation. Authorities said Klein also illegally caught wildlife and helped the Berry fathers and sons. His hunting privileges were stripped away for five years.

Berry Jr. was also sentenced to 120 days in a prison near Barton County for violating gun rules.
