People's Daily Mexico City, January 18 (Reporter Liu Xuxia) On January 17, the Inner Mongolia Tongliao City National Song and Dance Troupe made a wonderful appearance at the Centennial Theater in Tralnepantla (Tenet City) in Mexico, bringing an audiovisual feast that integrates dance, song and musical instruments to local audiences. The audience praised the Chinese national culture one after another, hoping that the cultural exchanges between China and Mexico would be increasing day by day.

Mongolian songs and dances such as "Four Seasons Song", "Ten Thousand Horses Galloping", and "Ao Bao Rendezvous", which integrate unique elements such as long tone, humai and horse head qin, seem to bring the imagination of 1400 spectators to the vast grassland, and experience the Mongolian spirit of galloping horses bravely and loyally. The climax of the performance for more than an hour was repeated, and the audience either clapped their hands together, or waved their hands and applauded loudly.

Li Xiaoqiu, deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, introduced the three world-class intangible cultural heritages of Humai, Changtong and Matouqin to the audience, and asked the three artists to show their performance methods to the audience, explaining and intuitively showing the traditional national arts that allowed the audience to deeply experience the unique style, which won a round of applause.

"Cultural exchanges are the most effective channel to bring the hearts and minds of the two peoples closer together and enhance friendship. China has 56 ethnic groups, Mexico also has a multicultural country, and both Mexico and China shoulder the historical mission of inheriting, developing and innovating their own culture. Garcia, director of the Tenet Municipal Bureau of Culture, said that the Chinese government has helped bring intangible cultural heritage to people all over the world, and the prospects for cultural cooperation between Mexico and China are getting broader and broader.

Towards the end of the show, cheers, whistles and screams echoed before the audience stood up to salute the cast and crew, and the unceasing applause echoed through the theater. After the performance, the Mexican guests attending the event took a group photo with the actors on stage and issued certificates to them.

"The performance of the horse's head is simply amazing! Chinese culture is broad and profound, and it is worth constantly exploring new content. After watching the performance, Miguel Angel, a citizen of Tenet, and his wife were amazed at the wonderful skills of the actors and the gorgeous national costumes.

This event is co-sponsored by the Embassy in Mexico, the Chinese Cultural Center of Mexico, the Department of Culture and Tourism of inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Municipal Government of Tralnepantra Municipality, Mexico, within the framework of the 2020 Mexican "Happy Spring Festival" series of activities. Zhang Jiachen, deputy director of the Inner Mongolia Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department, Luo Jun, director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Mexico, and Lasso, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Tenei City, also watched the performance together.
