Yao Yilin (September 6, 1917 – December 11, 1994), a native of Guichi District, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, was an outstanding leader in China's economic work. He has served as Minister of Commerce, Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of the State Council, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. He died in Beijing on December 11, 1994.
