First of all, introduce myself ~ this is my first free trip, this travelogue is also my debut ~ because many things are experienced for the first time, so there are many feelings that are particularly worth savoring.
I have been in contact with K-pop culture for a long time, and after going to Korea with the group, I have always wanted to go on my own trip again. I originally wanted to go last year, but because of my passport, mers and other issues, my Korea free trip was postponed again and again. Because I am too lazy to apply for a visa, I will simply come to Jeju Island! Once the decision was made, I hurried to book my flight and hotel. This time I was going out with my mother, because she wanted to rely on me for everything, and I had to do all kinds of homework. About five days before I left, I started to make plans and check the strategy, but it was actually quite tiring. But when playing, there are really a lot of mistakes, saving a lot of heart, I am still very happy ~
To be sure, when you go to Jeju Island in winter, you may not be able to see the scenery as you like. But if you bee friends can even accept such Jeju Island, then please feel free to come. Because if you come here in other seasons, the scenery as far as your eyes can see will be too beautiful.

About tickets:
We decided to go for 5 days, 2.15-2.19, depart on Monday and come back on Friday. I booked a round-trip ticket online at Qunar. From Beijing to Jeju Island, Korean Air and China Eastern Airlines have direct flights, and the specific information is as follows:
【Go】
【Back】
Because my home is far from the airport, the flight can't be too early when I go, and I don't plan to go to any attractions on the first day; I want to buy something on the last day, and I also have to refund taxes and pick up goods, so I want to return to the flight later. Based on the above considerations, we have booked a round-trip flight from China Eastern Airlines. The specific information is as follows:
Price: 4690rmb for 2 people (including air tickets, taxes, insurance) The ticket was bought more than two months in advance, and it was better to buy early and be sure!
About the hotel: Because I went out with my mother, my mother did not believe in the homestay very much, so I simply booked a hotel on Ctrip for about 300rmb for one night, called hotel jm. When booking a hotel, I didn't know much about Jeju Island (I also booked it more than two months in advance), nor did I know that Jeju Island has two cities (Jeju City and Seogwipo City), and I didn't take into account that for the convenience of playing, I lived in Jeju City for the first two days and stayed in Seogwipo City two days later. We just wanted a place to stay for 4 nights, so we casually found a hotel in Jeju City near the city center. Really arrived in Jeju Island only to find out that the location of this hotel is really fried chicken sticks! Specifically how to stick to the back will say, in short, there is a feeling of crooked play ~
About exchanging money:
I am lazy, I have not compared the exchange rate difference between bank of China and industrial and commercial bank, nor am I like some beekeepers who open a Huaxia bank card (the first cash withdrawal abroad is free of charge). We exchanged money directly at the Bank of China. The last time I went to South Korea, there were still 18w korean dollars left, and this time I changed 2000rmb, that is, 353000 korean dollars, adding up to a total of more than 50w, 5 days is definitely enough, anyway, it is very convenient to swipe the card. Bank of China to change money needs to be booked a day in advance, the Spring Festival when the Bank of China staggered peak rest, want to make an appointment when the home bank near my home is not open, so the change of money is delayed for a few days, the morning of departure we just finished changing the money. I think it's a bit rushed, if only I could exchange the money before the Spring Festival.
The exchange of money at the capital airport is not reliable, and the exchange rate is not ideal. I've seen money exchanges at Jeju airport and on the street, but the exchange rate is certainly not as good as when the Bank of China is changing, so I haven't considered it. I think I definitely didn't go to Korea only this time, so I thought it was nothing to change a little more, and I would use it next time.
About wifi: In the past, when I went to Europe and Australia, I used the wifi rented by a treasure, and the store sent it directly to my home. I think it signals well, so this trip to South Korea is still his home, 15rmb a day. But to be honest, I feel that the signal to Jeju Island this time is not ideal, even in the city, sometimes you have to drive 2 or 3 times to find the signal. The speed of the network is OK, searching for maps, sending WeChat, and brushing Weibo are no problem. This wifi runs out of battery for four or five hours, so I have to bring a charging treasure every day to "raise" it.
There is an egg rental counter next to gate5 on the 1st floor of Jeju Airport (arrival), and the gate5 is across from The Korean Customs, which is very easy to find. Personally, I feel that the Internet speed of egg will be much faster, but it is also much more expensive than that on Taobao. The rental information is as follows:
About languages:
I learned a little Korean, but it was only at a half-hanging level, and I could understand the standing signs. I am more shy, usually do not have much opportunity to speak English, so my English is relatively poor; let alone the spoken Korean, my pronunciation is not standard, so I simply brought a small book this time, planning to write the place name in the book directly to the driver to see, if I say something the other party stunned it will be sour. I didn't download any of the translation apps, because I think the four languages of Chinese, Korean, English plus body movements must be mixed together, hahaha! Come out and feel that your speaking level has indeed improved. At first, I was a little embarrassed to speak a foreign language, and I felt that I couldn't open my mouth, but when I really pushed it, it was absolutely no problem. Linguistics is not the use of well, the pronunciation of the divine horse is secondary, can express their own meaning is the main thing.
After arriving in Jeju Island, I found that English is really not very good, and if you speak English to the locals, you may be able to understand it, but they almost all use Korean when they answer you. The menu, place name or whatever, there are Chinese, so it doesn't matter if you don't speak Korean, just show it to the waiter when ordering. Some people in tourist attractions will speak some simple Chinese, which is probably "this x thousand pieces". When shopping, there are basically Chinese-speaking clerks in duty-free shops and roadside cosmetics stores (one of the "recruitment" requirements of these stores is to speak Chinese), so you don't have to worry about shopping at all
I feel from the bottom of my heart that the general Korean (hello, thank you, etc.) can not be spoken, but jeju, Seogwipo Korean pronunciation and writing must know ah. For example, on the way back, ask the driver if he is going to Jeju (Seogwipo), and if you sit in the wrong direction, you will be in trouble
If you don't know Korean, don't worry, you can write down the Korean language of the place you want to go to the book, and show it to people when asking for directions.
About The Guide:
I have known the magical and comprehensive website of Ant Honeycomb for a long time, so I have referred to a lot of bee friends' raiders, and I will put some of the raider URLs I have referenced at the end of this travelogue, hoping that everyone will communicate more~
In addition to this, there are several websites worth recommending:
It has information on Jeju Island's transportation, hotels, shopping, attractions, food, etc.
Public comments: @http://www.dianping.com/jeju This needless to say, search for "Baojian Road" and other place names on the top will have food recommendations Oh ~ ~
Map of Hanchao Network:@http://map.cn.konest.com/
This map can be roughly Chinese searched, can also be located in real time, and there are mobile apps. Hanchao map can be combined with naver maps and Google Maps.
【Instructions &Download Address】@http://map.cn.konest.com/help/
Finally, I recommend my artifact to everyone: naver Map!! 【Url】@http://map.naver.com
Naver Maps is a map of Naver, Korea's largest search engine, with apps. If you can order Korean, this map is really convenient, because the function is very powerful, there are street view maps, you can check bus routes and transportation costs, nearby food, etc., you can also locate in real time. However, it does not speak Korean and does not affect normal use.

【Related Raiders II】2013.10 Jeju Island 3-day Bus Raiders Edition (recommended naver map + check bus tutorial)
The picture above shows how to take the bus from Jeju City Bus Terminal to Seongsan Sunrise Peak. As can be seen from the picture, you can take the 701 and 710 roads, the arrival time is about 1 and a half hours, and the transportation fee for one person is 3300 won. I check traffic and routes mainly by relying on naver maps. If you are afraid to take the bus to the station, you can use this to locate in real time ~ If you do not speak Korean, you can refer to the bus route map and operating schedule on Jeju Pass and the comprehensive Hanchao network, naver and Google Maps.
Some other details about:
visa:
Jeju Island is visa-free, so get your passport, book your plane and hotel, and go boldly
Adapter plug:
South Korea uses German standard plugs (two thick cylindrical shapes), you can buy a conversion plug on a treasure, and then bring a plug board. The hotel front desk should also be able to rent a conversion plug, but I don't know if there will be a charge.
Weather:
Directly on the Du Niang search for "Jeju Island weather" can be, the longest can be expected to be 15 days after the weather, but we go to these days feel that the weather forecast is not very accurate, haha.
We went in mid-February, the minimum temperature is above 0 °C, the maximum temperature is about 10 °C, it feels not as cold as Beijing, but the wind is particularly strong. Scarves and hats are best prepared
This little card can be made not only by Jeju, but also by Seoul. Plastic cards are the most common, and the cost of work is 2500 won. At convenience stores marked with t-money tags such as 7-11, gs25, cu, etc., you can buy & recharge & return the card. T-money can be used not only on buses (a t-money can be used by up to 4 people), but also at some outlets and convenience stores with the t-money logo. When returning the card at a convenience store, the balance of the card cannot be greater than 20,000 won, in addition to which a handling fee of 500 won will be charged.
There is a 7-11 near gate1 on the first floor of Jeju Airport that can buy t-money. I spent 30,000 won on the first day to buy & recharge, the next day I charged another 10,000 won, and the penultimate day charged another 5,000 won. I don't think the transportation cost of Jeju Island is really cheap.
Now there is a more convenient way to buy t-money (currently only available at Seoul Incheon Airport and Gimpo Airport), which is to open the mobile phone Alipay (pull down) - the world is so big (pull down) - South Korea He Xinchun (pull down) - South Korea transportation card.

The Sina blog with the id "Sunny Jeju Islander" is highly recommended and has a lot of practical information in it.
The above picture was given to me by someone when I went to Korea last time, and I didn't understand anything at the time, and I didn't know where to throw it later. I feel that the last card has more Korean characteristics~ ~
Jeju Island's offers are divided into large taxis, model taxis (black) and general taxis (white) priced on a time-by-time basis. White out of the starting price (within 2 km) 2300 won, every 35 seconds 100 won. Black out of the starting price (within 3 km) 3300 won, every 39 seconds 200 won. But some do not hit the meter, directly tell you where to go how much money (certainly more expensive than the meter), but in some remote attractions, if you can't meet the right out, you can only do so. In addition, in some attractions, the staff can help you call a car, but the called car may not be metered, the price is more expensive.
After we came out of Korea Customs, it was gate5 opposite. We continued on and probably saw the 600 bus sign at gate3. Out of the door, follow the instructions, found that in fact, the gate5 entrance is the airport bus. So if you want to take the airport bus, just go straight out of gate5.
Timetable: Every 18-20 minutes
Departs from the airport from 6:20-22:50
Departs from Seogwipo from 6:10-21:40
Station name: As shown in the following figure

If they see someone in the carriage responding, they will smile ~ but I actually want to laugh a little when I see them waving, because it is already a bit mechanized~ ~
