There are also wild histories that record that the "Carpenter Emperor" spent a whole year making a folding bed that was considered advanced at that time. Zhu Yuxiao squatted by his dragon bed every day to observe, and he found that in order to make the bed more stable, the bed frame was used too much material, resulting in a very heavy situation. As a craftsman, there is naturally no lack of innovative thinking, he immediately found a large number of light wood, after practical modifications, finally successfully designed a set of freely movable folding bed board and bed frame, so that the movement of the bed more convenient.
Zhu You's carpentry work from small ornaments to beds was getting bigger and bigger, but he was still not satisfied, and even set his sights on construction projects. At that time, Zhu Youxue and the eunuchs often played squabble ball in changle palace, and they felt that it was not too addictive to play, so they personally drafted and successfully designed five Keyuan halls. After the end of the project, the building in front of him was very good, which further encouraged Zhu You's confidence, and later between the fifth year of the Apocalypse (1625) and the seventh year of the Apocalypse (1627), Zhu Youxiao personally supervised the work and completed a huge reconstruction project of the Taihe Hall, the Zhonghe Hall and the Bohol Hall.
