The inspection well is set up for the maintenance of power supply, water supply, drainage, sewage, communications, cable TV, gas pipes, street lamp lines, etc. of the urban underground infrastructure, and is convenient for installation. It is generally located at the intersection of pipes, at bends, at changes in diameter or slope, and at intervals of distance on straight pipe segments, which is convenient for regular inspection of auxiliary structures. The following Guangzhou concrete inspection wells introduce how the inspection wells are classified.
According to the material used: there are two kinds of brick wells and reinforced concrete wells.
According to the function used:
1. Ordinary inspection wells: Inspection wells are usually located at the intersection of pipes and canals, turns, changes in the size or slope of pipes and canals, and on straight pipes and canals that are separated by a certain distance.
2. Falling well: It is an inspection well with energy consumption facilities. Riser and overflow weir type. The former is suitable for pipes with d≤400mm, and the latter is suitable for pipes with d>400mm.
3. Ventilation well: the organic matter in the sewage is often deposited in the pipe canal and anaerobic fermentation, fermentation decomposition of methane, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and other gases, such as mixed with a certain volume of air, under ignition conditions will produce explosion, or even fire. In order to prevent the occurrence of such accidental accidents, but also to ensure that the staff can operate more safely when repairing the drainage pipes, ventilation pipes are sometimes set up on the inspection wells. This type of inspection well with ventilation ducts is called a ventilation well.
4. Water sealing well: When the inspection well has water sealing facilities, in order to isolate the explosive and flammable gases from entering the drainage pipe channel, so that the drainage pipe canal will not cause explosion or fire when entering the site where it may catch fire, such a inspection well is called a water sealing well.
