Enhance the safety and epidemic prevention capabilities of the tourism industry, Guangdong does so!
Recently, the "2021 Provincial Tourism Safety Capacity Improvement and Emergency Rescue Drill Activity" co-sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau and Huizhou People's Government was held in Huidong County, Huizhou City. More than 200 people from 21 prefecture-level cultural and tourism departments in the province and the cultural and tourism departments of Qingyuan City (county, district), representatives of relevant units directly under the provincial government, experts in key areas of the industry, and representatives of some key tourism enterprises participated in the training and drill activities.
This activity is a specific action to implement the deployment and requirements of activities such as the "Three-year Action for Special Rectification of Safe Production" and the "Safe Production South Guangdong Tour" of the Provincial Safety Commission Office, and the "Systematic Prevention and Resolution of Road Traffic Safety Risks" of the Provincial Highway Security Office. The activity aims to strengthen cross-departmental coordination and linkage, enhance the safety literacy and safety awareness of tour operators, tourists and tourism practitioners, and further improve the safety management level of the province's cultural and tourism system and the ability to respond to emergencies.
At the training course, Zeng Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, pointed out that over the past year, the province has dispatched 275672 law enforcement inspectors and inspected 94,463 cultural and tourism venues. 2929 hidden dangers of epidemic prevention and control were found and handled, 1982 hidden dangers of safe production were found and rectified, no major tourism-related safety accidents occurred throughout the year, and no incidents of spreading the epidemic through tourism activities occurred, and the safety situation of the industry remained stable.
At present, the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control in China is stable, but the risk of the continuous spread of the epidemic abroad, the mutation of the virus, sporadic sporadic cases and local outbreaks of the domestic epidemic still exists. He stressed that it is necessary to enhance the sense of distress, establish a solid bottom-line thinking, resolutely overcome paralyzing thoughts, war-weary emotions, luck psychology, and slack mentality, further weave a solid epidemic prevention and control network in the cultural and tourism industry, go all out to prevent imports, rebounds, and exports, and resolutely prevent the spread of the epidemic through tourism activities in accordance with the relevant deployment requirements and prevention and control guidelines of the state and provinces. The first is to strengthen the supervision of inter-provincial group tourism activities of travel agencies and suspend inter-provincial tourism activities in provinces (autonomous regions and cities) where medium and high-risk areas occur; the second is to implement the epidemic prevention and control requirements of scenic spots, implement prevention and control measures such as scanning codes, measuring temperature, "one-meter line", and wearing masks, etc., to prevent people from gathering instantaneously; the third is to implement prevention and control measures in closed places to minimize the holding of gathering activities in closed places; the fourth is to strengthen the health management of employees and implement the daily health monitoring and reporting system for employees.
During the training, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism invited Su Xiaojun, a national first-level safety evaluator and former deputy inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department, Peng Zhiqiang, deputy director of the Institute of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control of the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and other relevant safety and epidemic prevention experts to give on-site lectures. In addition, combined with the characteristics of the current tourism safety work, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, together with the Provincial Maritime Safety Bureau and the Huizhou Municipal People's Government, held an emergency rescue drill with a practical background in the Shuangyue Bay Scenic Area. The drill set up three subjects, such as the handling of the sudden suspected epidemic situation in the hotel, the "five no rent" of the tourist chartered bus, and the emergency rescue on the water.
