The Chicago Bulls got off to a hot start to the season, with their new members playing a key role. There's one player who hasn't played yet due to injury, and he's young guard Kobe White. Even if White is back, the Bulls' guard position is still surplus and can be traded with him.

In the offseason, the Chicago Bulls acquired guard Ball and Caruso, who are an important part of the rotation. They also recently lost defensive winger Patrick Williams, who could miss the rest of the season. With White not attacking long enough and a lack of depth on the flanks, they should consider trading him.
That being said, here are three reasons why the Bulls must trade Kobe Bryant White.
3. White is not quite suitable
While White is a young player on the rise, his game is not a good fit for the new look of the Bulls. Billy Donovan combined Demar DeRozan, Bauer, Caruso and Zach Lavin and Nikola Vucevic well. Last season, White averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
He also shot 41.6 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from three-point range. He's a shooting guard who doesn't quite match the offense of other teams in Chicago. White's scoring ability could benefit other teams, and the Bulls should trade him to other teams.
2. The Bulls need to defend the wingers
With Patrick Williams likely to miss the rest of the season, the Bulls lack depth in the wing position. Javent Green has already made it to the starting line-up and he would be better off as a substitute. Chicago has an incredible lineup and has the potential to make great strides in the playoffs.
Adding a defensive winger could help the Bulls jump to become a true contender in the East. Williams is ready to play an important role for the team as a full-back. As a growing young scorer, White will have good trading value, and Chicago will get a winger in return.
1. The Bulls' defensive depth is very high
The Bulls have one of the best backcourts in the NBA. They have LaVine and Ball as starting defenders, they are a dynamic backcourt and Caruso is the main substitute. Caruso has been a key contributor to the Donovan squad as he is often in the final squad.
These three defenders create an excellent balance in terms of scoring, organisation and defence. This season, Ball is averaging 12.4 points per game and shooting 40.7 percent from three-point range, a career high. Despite the small sample size, Ball is confident in his jump shot and he can be a steady three-point shooter.
LaVine also started the season strongly, averaging 25.8 points per game, which is very efficient. Over the past two seasons, the Bulls have become aggressive under his leadership.
Caruso was a great addition, averaging 8 points and 1.9 steals per game. He's also a great three-point shooter with a 41.2 percent shooting percentage.
When White returned, the Bulls didn't have much time to deal with him, and it made the most sense to trade him to another team.
Whether or not the Chicago Bulls can leave White, they will all make the playoffs for the first time since 2017. However, if they succeed in trading a defensive winger, they could become title contenders. The Bulls don't have superstars, but a team with multiple stars and rising talent.
They should be able to make great strides in the playoffs and bring the passion for basketball back to Chicago.
