Indira Anne Varma is a British actress. Her film debut and first major role was the Kama Sutra: A Love Story. She went on to appear in the television series Canterbury Tales, Rome, Luther, Human Purpose and Game of Thrones (as Ellaria Sand). In September 2016, she began starring as DS Nina Suresh as itv/Netflix series Paranoid. She also starred in the new Amazon Prime series Carnival Row. Based on the life of Isaac Wright Jr,she played the role of prison guard in the 2020 American television series Life.
