Beijing News On May 26, according to Japanese media reports, Japanese director and screenwriter Yasuo died of illness at 9:44 a.m. on May 20, at the age of 84. He was involved in the production of the TV series "Blood Doubt" starring Momoe Yamaguchi, and directed films such as "Railroad Man" starring Ken Takakura and Ryoko Hiromi. It is reported that Yasuo who lowered the flag is very appreciative of Ken Takakura, and the two have cooperated more than 20 times.

Yasuo was born on August 19, 1934 in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from the Faculty of French Literature at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Tokyo in 1957 and joined to the Toei Studio in the same year. In 1966, Yasuo lowered the flag and became a director and directed his debut film "Bad Girl Yoko".
