China has a long history, and in the long years, there have been many excellent characters who have brought us many interesting stories with their abilities and wisdom, such as Ye Tianshi. Ye Gui, zi Tianshi, Xiangyan, alias Mr. Nanyang, and in his later years, also known as Shangjin Old Man, was a native of Wu County, Jiangsu (now Suzhou, Jiangsu), and was a famous medical scientist in the Qing Dynasty and one of the four major wenologists.

Ye Tianshi shao inherited family learning, his grandfather Ye Zifan (also known as ZiFan), was a person with noble medical ethics, and his father Ye Yangsheng was more exquisite in medical skills, which brought great help to Ye Tianshi's study of medicine, he was familiar with ancient books such as "Neijing" and "Difficult Classics" from an early age, and also searched and collected the books of famous masters of all generations. From the age of twelve to eighteen, ye Tianshi had seventeen famous doctors who had visited the master, including zhou Yangjun, Wang Zijie and other famous doctors, and it is no wonder that posterity called him "the depth and breadth of the division".
After Ye Yangsheng's death, Ye Tianshi began to walk the rivers and lakes and consult others, and thus produced many classic stories.
It is said that there was a rich merchant in the Suzhou area at that time, who had countless wives and concubines, but only one precious son, so he loved him very much, and could even be called spoiled.
The son of a wealthy merchant lives a very happy life and is born to enjoy all the conveniences that the world has brought. But because the rich merchant's son's body and bones have not undergone much exercise, he is relatively weak, easy to get sick, and when he was in his twenties, he suddenly had a strange illness, did not speak or eat, only drank a little who, all day long with his eyes closed in bed, his body was getting weaker and weaker.
For his son's state, the rich businessman was very anxious and quickly hired a famous doctor to diagnose his son. Many doctors believe that the rich merchant's son is weak, so they prescribe him a lot of ginseng, astragalus and other drugs, but the rich businessman's son has no effect after eating it. This situation made the rich merchant completely anxious, and he was afraid that he would cut off the incense, so he took a lot of money and asked Ye Tianshi for help.
Ye Tianshi was not an indifferent person, and naturally gladly agreed, frowning when he came to the rich merchant and saw the state of the rich merchant's son, and withdrew without a diagnosis.
The rich merchant felt very strange and asked, "Mr. Ye, don't you give the dog a pulse?" Ye Tianshi replied, "I don't need to diagnose the pulse, I already know where the root of the disease is!" After saying this, Ye Tianshi said to the rich man's servant: "You hurry to get a toilet, fill the toilet with urine, and then find an empty bucket, put two toilets in front of the gongzi, and then pour the urine from this toilet into the other, and so on." The servant had to do so, and for a moment the house was filled with urine, and the rich man pinched his nose and did not know why.
After pouring the toilet twice, the rich merchant's son suddenly opened his eyes and shouted that he was hungry and wanted to eat. After hearing this, Ye Tianshi immediately ordered the toilet to be taken away and asked the servant to bring food. After that, the rich merchant's son's body gradually recovered, but the rich merchant still couldn't figure it out, so he asked Ye Tianshi why, and Ye Tianshi said: "As soon as I entered the gongzi's bedroom, I asked about a strong aroma, and when I got to the gongzi's bedside, the aroma was even more intense, it was simply pungent."
Normal people often live in this too strong aroma, which will dissipate the vitality in the body, which is the disease of 'incense channeling'. So I used the smell of urine to absorb the excessive aroma, so that the boy's body recovered."
