After returning from buying vegetables, Lao Wang stopped his chores and picked up the radio at 7:30 on time to broadcast environmental protection and safety knowledge to the residents. Broadcast twice a day, at 7:30 am and 17:30 pm.

In the afternoon, Lao Wang was busy again. Residents often renovate or move, and furniture such as discarded mattresses, sofas, tables and chairs are shelved downstairs. Lao Wang used an axe or knife to divide into small pieces to facilitate the sanitation workers to transport away.
He transported the planks, which had been unloaded from discarded tables and chairs, to the cubicle where they were kept. Lao Wang said, "When the time comes, when there is a lot of accumulation, I will call someone to transport it away and give them wood to burn." For seven years, he had repeated these simple and tedious things.
