Symptoms and prevention techniques of grape green blind bugs

The green blind bug lygus lucorum meyer-dur belongs to the order Hemiptera, the family Hagfish. Adults are long oval-shaped, about 5 mm long, light green, antennae and brown feet. The dorsal plate of the front chest is densely covered with small black spots, and there are 2 yellow spots on the small shield. The head, thorax and abdomen of the nymph are light green, densely covered with black villi, the top of the wing buds is black-green, and the antennae and feet are brown. Because of the small size of this pest, similar to the color of the grape leaves, it is not easy to detect, day and night, the time of harm is early, and it migrates rapidly after being disturbed, and the fruit farmers often do not know the symptoms of the pest, mistakenly think that it is a wind damage or disease and control too late or improperly medicated, resulting in poor prevention.

Occurrence period and pest symptoms: Nymphs and adults can harm leaves, flowers and fruits, and have the characteristics of strong flight ability, heterogeneous food, daytime lurking, and nocturnal activity. The worm uses a sucking mouthpart to harm the young leaves, inflorescences and young fruits of the grapes. The damaged leaves are reddish-brown needle-sized necrotic spots, and as the leaves grow, tearing or irregular holes form in the damaged areas, and the leaves are undulating and uneven. The victimization of young fruits is generally manifested in the fall of flowers for 4 to 10 days, the surface of young fruits is black-brown depression, and the area of victimization accounts for 1/3 to 1/2 of the fruit surface, affecting fruit growth and expansion, and when severe, the young fruits wilt and fall off (as shown in the figure). In Liaoning, 4 to 5 generations occur every year, and the generations overlap, with the first serious harm to grapes. In mid-to-late April, when the average temperature is above 10 °C, it hatches into nymphs, and in early May, the new shoots of grapes are at the peak of their pests.

Prevention and control points: the control of the insect should be in the early spring to clean up the weeds in the orchard, burn the branches to crack the old skin, and the drug control should promote early prevention. At the time of grape new shoots 2 to 3 leaves, the inflorescence separation stage and the three critical periods after flowering, 1000 times liquid of tick 30% emulsion of chlorpyrifos 30% + acetamidine 5% microemulsion 1500 times liquid, or chlorellocyanoxic chlorpyrifos 52.25% emulsion 1500 times liquid, or butythioxyl Budweiser 20% emulsion 2000 times liquid, or methylamino avermectin cypermethrin 3.2% emulsion 1000 times liquid + imidacloprid 10% wettable powder 1000 times liquid, intervals of 7 to 10 days, alternately use whole tree spray. It can achieve a better prevention and control effect.
