"I don't know the game that has reached 999 wins, I didn't count the things, I put my heart and soul into the game, it's not an easy thing to play against the Bulls, of course, to have 1,000 wins means I'm lucky."
Rivers received ice bucket shower congratulations from Embiid and Maxi on his return to the locker room
"They arranged it in the dressing room," Rivers joked, "it's a little cold, I hope it's beer instead."
Rivers has a 1,000-706 record in 23 seasons under the Magic, Celtics, Clippers and 76ers.
Won at least half of all games except three seasons, won one championship and two 60-win seasons during the Celtics, and helped the Clippers become a strongly competitive team in the Western Conference.
