<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="6" > – approaching Makoto Ito</h1>

Wang Qingsheng (Jiangsu)

At the Tokyo Olympics, Ito Mimako, a japanese female player who won the first mixed doubles gold medal in table tennis with Mizutani Hayabusa, won a silver and bronze medal in the women's team and women's singles competition, becoming the biggest athlete in the Japanese team to win gold and silver and bronze. Through the CCTV live broadcast, the author carefully observed her performance on and off the field, through the information learned by the reporter friends in front, the author feels that her skills have risen again than when she interviewed her 6 years ago, and she is more mature in dealing with people and things...

It was the 53rd Suzhou World Table Tennis Championships (individual event) that opened on April 25, 2015. After the 1995 Tianjin World Table Tennis Championships and the 2005 Shanghai World Table Tennis Championships, the author received strong support from the leaders of the Provincial and Municipal Table Tennis Association and other relevant parties for the third time, and was fortunate to die in the scene of the table tennis competition observation and interview.

A total of 9 days of competition, exciting and exciting. Very impressive classic battles are very much. One of them is to marvel at Ito's outstanding performance on the field.

She was only 15 years old at the time, and after the women's singles reached the quarterfinals of the 1/4 district, she "unfortunately" met Li Xiaoxia, the first sister of Chinese women's table tennis who became the winner of the "Grand Slam" in 2012.

Li Xiaoxia is an outstanding representative of women's technical masculinity. Among the national table tennis women's line athletes, her playing style is the most advanced and the technical quality is the strongest. In addition, the height of the person, the large area of the guard, the speed, strength, and rotation in the batting power element are combined, and the confrontation and defense are also handy. Despite the strong upward momentum, Miyu Hirano won the Women's Doubles title at the Age of 14 and the Women's Singles Title at the German Open in March 2015, becoming the youngest player to win the ITTF Series Tour Women's Singles and Women's Doubles. However, the key players of the Chinese team did not participate in that competition. Therefore, the team expected Li Xiaoxia to win this game without problems, which is very reassuring...

Unexpectedly, the situation after the kick-off of the quarter-final was unexpected by everyone. Ito won two consecutive sets, focusing the attention of the audience, including the table tennis celebrities, on this table. At that time, the author was on the scene, meeting the young Ito For the first time, and Li Xiaoxia, the gold medalist in the women's singles of the London Olympic Games, was very passive. A closer look at Ito's playing style is quite distinctive. In particular, the speed of the backhand raw rubber attack is super fast, the explosive power is excellent, and it is full of changes. Although her forehand position is mainly based on fighting, lack of friction and rotation, can only quickly attack and can not hold defense, but she has a peaceful mentality, with weak to strong, dare to fight, playing a state of super level play, courage, aura, and change are concentrated in her backhand position. The first set was won 11:9, the second set was still fierce, a strong attack of "newborn calves are not afraid of tigers", and fought to 16:14, which was a sensation on the scene.

Fortunately, Li Xiaoxia's strength is superior, and she has gradually found a means to win with her rich practical experience: from rapid stalemate to using rotation to create rhythm; from backhand confrontation to forehand breakthrough from the middle of the opponent; disrupting Ito's batting habits and inhibiting her specialty. Thus achieving a reversal under the crazy play of the opponent, winning four consecutive sets (in the fifth set, Lee narrowly won 13:11, which once made the coach and the audience feel bad), and turned the danger into a disaster.

After this battle, the author saw that Ito Mimachi put a lot of pressure on the super first-class masters, had a strong enterprising spirit, had a temperament of "dare to win and is not afraid to lose", and had the heart to approach her. So together with a photojournalist who also wanted to interview her, she broke into the auxiliary hall (a special training hall for athletes) and first quietly observed her... After seizing her short break, he went forward to introduce himself. Ito answered our simple questions politely and shyly, and slightly sorted out the sportswear for us to take pictures. When we said goodbye, we leaned over and said "thank you."

This group photo from 6 years ago I have kept to this day. In the following years, she has defeated many world champions such as Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen, Zhu Yuling, Wang Manyu, Sun Yingsha, Feng Tianwei and many other world champions in international competitions, and won the "Best Breakthrough Award" of the ANNUAL COMMENDATION of the International Table Tennis Federation, the runner-up of the World Cup Women's Team, the Mixed Doubles Champion of the Qatar Open, the Women's Singles Champion of the Austrian Open, the Women's Singles Champion of the Doha Challenge, and the world ranking has ranked second. Seeing her outstanding performance in the mixed doubles final on TV now, I have to admire her tenacious challenge spirit. Although the women's singles semifinals were "shaved" by Sun Yingsha (0:4 defeat), she did not see her slumped. The bronze medal battle was still fierce and ended in victory. Although the women's team final was once again frustrated by Sun Yingsha, the innings score was 0:2 behind, but it did not spare, tenaciously fought, played a few "god balls", and won the third set 11:3...

After watching TV, the author feels that she has just turned 21 years old, and she still has great development potential and upward space. As long as the deficiencies of "better than speed, weaker than rotation; better than backhand, weaker than forehand; better than attack, weaker than holding; better than fighting, weaker than stable play", in the coming period, she will still be the strongest opponent in the future of Chinese women's table tennis, and she may still be on the highest podium of the World Table Tennis Championships again.
