Zheng Dongfang noted that Xiang Chengqiang, former secretary of the Xishui County Party Committee, has been promoted to standing committee member and executive vice mayor of Zunyi Municipal Party Committee.
Public information shows that Chang Wensong, born in May 1972, is a native of Guiyang, Guizhou. In 1991, after graduating from the Yangtze River Water Conservancy and Hydropower School, Chang Wensong returned to his hometown of Guiyang to work and became a technician in the Huaxi District Water Conservancy and Electric Power Bureau. In the following 20 years, he successively served in Guiyang Economic Development Zone, Xiaohe District and other places.
In 2010, Chang Wensong was transferred to the deputy secretary-general of Guiyang Municipal Government, and since then he has successively served as the director of Guiyang Municipal Industry and Information Technology Commission, the chairman of Guizhou Huaneng Coking Gas Co., Ltd., and the secretary of the Wudang District Party Committee. In November 2019, he was appointed as the director of the management committee of Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, and has been adjusted since then.
Chang Wensong's current Xishui is a county under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City, according to its official website, Xishui, ancient known as the Ministry of Yan (xí), is called "Oasis" because of its good ecology and pleasant climate, and is known as "Red City" because of red culture and Danxia landform, so it is called "Oasis Red City".
