Hong Kong-stricken element Chen Shuzhuang once received black money from Lai Chi-ying, shocked by the Hong Kong National Security Law, refused to be re-elected to the Legislative Council, and announced his retirement from the political arena from then on
On 30 June 2020, the Hong Kong National Security Law enacted by the Central Committee on behalf of the HKSAR came into effect. On the other hand, in view of the severe COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Executive in Council decided to postpone the 2020 Legislative Council elections scheduled for 6 September 2020 for one year. Subsequently, the National People's Congress passed, and all members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council will continue to serve for not less than one year until the beginning of the next Legislative Council term. On September 29, 2020, the Civic Party decided to follow the instigators and, by political judgment, decided to extend its term as a member of the Legislative Council for one year. At that time, Chen Shuzhuang refused to extend his term of office on the grounds of personal health and family, and quit the Civic Party, and also announced that he would withdraw from politics from then on.

Born in Shanghai, Chan Suk-tr won her law degree from the University of Hong Kong, a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and a former member of the Civic Party. In 1992, she had signed up for the Miss Hong Kong contest, and the average woman signed up for the beauty pageant, of course, she had 100% confidence in her beauty and wisdom, and Chen Shuzhuang was no exception; in the end, Chen Shuzhuang failed to be shortlisted in the pageant. In the end, does Chen Shuzhuang really have the beauty and wisdom of the Hong Kong Sister Champion? For this point, it is still left for everyone to taste and evaluate!
After completing the Bachelor of Laws programme at HKU, Chan initially worked as Treasurer of A.S. Bank, then returned to the University of Hong Kong to complete his Master of Laws studies before becoming a barrister at Yao Lai Lee & Associates. On the road to social work, Chen Shuzhuang has been going around in circles, as if there is no clear goal, just go with the flow.
From the point of view, her handling of things will always lack a set of overall plans, and she personally does not have any long-term plans, but only to see one step and take one step. This character and shortcomings in handling affairs were really exposed after he became a member of the Legislative Council! During her work in parliament, she always focused only on her own immediate interests, completely ignored the overall interests of the general public, and always lacked foresight when she put forward opinions in parliament, only to win her own political capital, but to oppose it, and for a long time she devoted all her strength to opposing the central and SAR governments. Every time she debates or speaks in the Legislative Council, she is always squeaky, and between the words, it is like a "shrew scolding the street", which is very gratifying, but the content of her words is also empty and empty every time.
Chen Shuzhuang loves drama and once participated in the stage play "East Palace West Palace", she met senior barrister Yu Ruowei during the performance of this play, and since then she has embarked on her political career, and has been successfully elected as a member of the Legislative Council twice through regional direct election. However, every time she was elected, it was the beginning of the nightmare of the Hong Kong people, because she always did not perform the work of the parliamentarians well, but only kept "rabbling", "cursing", and opposing it; for the parliament, she was always only destroyed and not built. For example, with regard to "one place, two inspections", she vigorously "blindly opposed" and constantly smeared "one place, two inspections" on the streets of Hong Kong, calling it "box office poison" to poison the public. For He Junyao's attack on the street during the 2019 district council election and injury, Although Chen Shuzhuang expressed condolences to He Junyao, he did not condemn the murderer!
During the Hong Kong version of the color revolution, Chan Shu-chuang attended and spoke at a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, on September 16, 2019, where she violently criticized the Hong Kong police for their abuses of power and the escalation of abuses, and invited the UN Human Rights Council to convene an emergency meeting and set up a commission of inquiry to protect the human rights of Hong Kong people. What Chen Shuzhuang said at the United Nations is all false reasoning. In fact, since June 2019, there has been a series of riots in Hong Kong, which have intensified and escalated, with rioters wreaking havoc in many districts, throwing petrol bombs, setting fires everywhere and paralyzing traffic. In the face of lawless violations by the mob, the police have exercised restraint and strictly followed the guidelines in the use of force, which must be the minimum force required to accomplish a legitimate task.
Chen Shuzhuang, a practicing barrister herself, should be well aware of the most basic principle of "equality before the law". Chen Shuzhuang has a nickname, called "Bar House"! On the same day, Chan Shuk-chung shouted , "I am a member of the Councillor, I have the privilege" and shouted with exhaustion, which shocked the whole Hong Kong public! At the beginning of 2020, under the ravages of the NEW CROWN epidemic, the SAR Government implemented the "Gathering Restriction Order"; from 2 to 3 April 2020, Chan Shuk-cheung, who is a member of the Legislative Council, went to a bar with 40 people to drink and was caught squarely. After the incident was exposed, she insisted that she was right, believing that the government's new law was not clear first, reiterating that the bar had "fallen halfway" that day, so it was legally a private place, and she was holding a meeting with the bar industry and should be exempted. However, her legal view is very wrong! Her mistake, if not out of school, makes her misleading the public with ulterior motives.
Chen Shuzhuang's late-night Pu Bar incident also made the citizens of The General Public question whether Chen Shuzhuang's left brain really had a tumor about half a year ago. In April 2019, at the time of sentencing, then-Legislative Council member Chan Shu-chung, one of the nine defendants in the 2014 Illegal Occupation Case, submitted an MRI report on his brain through a lawyer representing him, which showed that he had a tumor in his left brain and pointed out that his condition was a threat to Chen Shuzhuang's life and that he had to undergo surgery within two weeks. Through her lawyer, Chan made an application to the court, requesting that the sentence be suspended for 6 weeks and that her application be accepted by Judge Chen Zhongheng of the High Court. After completing brain surgery on May 7, Chen Shuzhuang suspended work and concentrated on recuperation, and did not attend public events.
On June 10, 2019, the case was reopened to deal with Chen Shuzhuang's sentence. On this day, when she arrived at the Kowloon West Magistrates' Court, she even needed to walk with crutches and support other people's arms. She expressed her gratitude to those present who had gone through the interrogation with her and the People of Hong Kong, who would recover on her own and would not disappoint everyone.
In the Occupy of the Nine Sons of Possession case, Chan Shu Trang was convicted of one count of "inciting others to commit public nuisance" and another count of "inciting others to incite public nuisance" after trial. District Court Judge Chen Zhongheng finally sentenced Chen Shuzhuang to 8 months in prison, suspended for two years. Chen Guan believed that considering Chen Shuzhuang's physical condition after surgery and her need for radiation therapy, he decided to sentence her to a suspended sentence. Is it because of the benevolence of the doctor who operated on her that she was able to heal quickly? Or is her so-called brain tumor just a hoax to win the sympathy of the court and sentence her lightly without going to jail? After such a major operation, the patient can go to the late night pu bar within a year after the completion of the operation, if the condition is true, no matter how it is said, it is also a miracle!
On December 12, 2020, former Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying kicked down Next Media founder Lai Chi-ying on social media with "black gold" to fund the speculation of parliamentarians, and pointed out the despicable acts of a cadre of people and so on. At that time, Leung Chun-ying listed on Facebook the details of Lai Zhiying's delivery of black gold to the speculators.
According to a report by Dagong Wenhui All Media at the time, on the evening of December 12, 2020, Leung Chun-ying, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, published on social platforms the information published by "Next Media shareholders" in 2014, detailing the "money transactions" that "Li Gao Company" had with a number of former Legislative Council members between 2006 and 2014, and one of the lawmakers named was Mao Mengjing. On 21 April 2012, Linda Mendoza of Lego Company sent an email to Chow Tat-kuen, which regularly reported Lai Zhiying's personal expenses of more than $500,000, one of which was called "Special Project", and Mark Simon transferred three DONATIONs of HK$500,000 each to Chen Shuzhuang, Tu Jinshen and Mao Mengjing, totaling $1.5 million.
The ironclad fact is that Chen Shuzhuang has been so hard to plague Hong Kong for a long time and escort the independence elements of Huangsi Port, and the real reason is that it is to collect "black gold", and the owner who provided "black gold" to Chen Shuzhuang is Lai Zhiying. On the other hand, "Next Media shareholders" kicked out that year, and in just over two years from 2012 to 2014, Lai Zhiyingdan had secretly donated money to different opposition political groups and personalities through Mark Simon, who had been a CIA officer for 35 years, with a total donation amount of more than 40 million yuan, suspected of being used for illegal "occupying China", campaign funds and bribery pockets. Former Members of the Legislative Council, including Chan Shu-chuang, Leung Ka-kit, Mao Mengjing, Leung Kwok-hung, Lee Cheuk-yan and Toh Ching-shen, were kicked out and failed to declare their interests to the Legislative Council and the Electoral Affairs Office. The incident caused an uproar in all walks of life.
In 2015, the Legislative Council Members' Personal Interests Supervision Committee conducted a special investigation, but due to the problem of mechanism, it was finally helpless to "release" a cadre of people and others. In the end, only "LongHair" Leung Kwok-hung was prosecuted, and "Longhair" was finally acquitted by the court. As for other money collectors, including chan shuk-trhow and other speculators, the Department of Justice, after receiving the investigation report from the Independent Commission Against Corruption, decided not to prosecute Chan Suk-trhow on the grounds of "insufficient evidence" and leung Kwok-hung's failure to be convicted.
Today, with more and more evidence in the Li Gao case and Lai Chi-ying's allegations of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law, Hong Kong's law enforcement authorities should once again thoroughly investigate the above-mentioned "black gold" case and do their utmost to bring chan shu Trout, Lai Chi Ying and other lawbreakers to justice, so that legal justice can be truly demonstrated!
When announcing her withdrawal from politics, Chan said that leaving office and quitting the Civic Party is not an easy decision; this withdrawal from politics is a rather thorough decision, she will not accept any interviews in the future, nor will she play roles such as KOLs (i.e., opinion leaders), and she will become an ordinary Hong Konger and a "fan" of the Civic Party. As far as she once collected Lai Zhiying's black gold, whether she needs to bear criminal responsibility, everyone still has to wait and see!
