author:China.com

Beijing Morning News (reporter Jiao Likun) WeWork, the originator of global co-working, has opened its flagship space into Beijing Fang, which is full of Chinese charm, in an attempt to create a flagship creator community. This is a new starting point for WeWork's expansion in China after completing a $500 million financing.

Langfang Toutiao No. 15, a combination of gray brick and stone carving, was a long-established gold shop in the late Qing Dynasty and is now transformed into a co-working space that attracts global innovators. The WeWork Beijing Fang community has four floors and 268 workstations. Here, you can sign a contract through face recognition technology, and you can also chat with the WeWork voice assistant for inspiration.

"Beijing Fang Community is the fourth flagship space that WeWork and Sino-Ocean Group have jointly created. WeWork retains the soul of the building in a 'repair as old' approach and reinvigorates it with cutting-edge technology. Ai Tiecheng, general manager of WeWork Greater China, said that WeWork currently has 40 office locations in China and plans to enter more Chinese cities in 2018.
