Barcelona conceded three goals in the second half of the game in last night's La Liga, and were forced to draw 3-3 by Celta before the end, and Barca midfielder De Jong was naturally very disappointed.
"We lack personality". Frenkie de Jong said after the game. "In the second half, we forgot how to play and we got stuck. We have to do more as players, it's an important game and not being able to win is a huge blow."
The match was five minutes in stoppage time, but Celta scored a goal in the 6th minute of stoppage time, and De Jong blasted the referee: "Five minutes of injury time is enough, and then there is an extra minute because of the set-pieces. When we're behind, the referee always makes up for 2 or 3 minutes."
Barcelona are behind in the La Liga table, but De Jong still maintains the dream of fighting for the title: "We have players at a very high level, just lost a lot of points and we have to keep going".
Regarding Harvey's upcoming return to coaching, De Jong said: "Everyone is very excited about Harvey's arrival, and we will work with him."
