The top floor of the hotel in front of you is like a different world isolated from the colorful city below. The icy light cut through the gap in the building, sprinkled on my fragile and sensitive emotions, and soaked my heart.
Why is there such a just right amount of rain, just the right amount of light and shadow, and just the right amount of sad memories.
The man sitting on the edge of the top floor, with his head bowed, caressed the white pigeon in his arms. The rain poured down on his naked body, and for a moment there was no more sorrow and joy in the world, and his name was "Roy"—a man I would never forget in my life.
Of course, I knew it wasn't him, and the scene in front of me was just a tribute to this plot in cyberpunk 2077. I also know that all this is just an irrelevant element of video game manufacturers trying to deceive me.
however...... Well I surrendered, even though I always thought that many of the game's Easter eggs were too blunt and uninteresting, and I had to surrender for them.
Cyberpunk 2077 has a huge number of Easter eggs that players will encounter one after another, even if they don't have the heart to look for them.
This includes not only homages to film and television, but also animation, comics, and even celebrities, and you can find almost all the most well-known science fiction works in it. And these Easter eggs are so easy to understand that even if you don't know much about science fiction, you can have fun with them.
"The Witcher Everywhere"
There really aren't many Easter eggs in the Wizarding series included in Cyberpunk 2077.
In the drawer we can find a magazine about commercial companies, and the cover of the magazine is exactly the same advertisement that The Witcher 3 used before its release in 2015.
At the same time, compared with the well-known characters in "The Witcher" such as "Geralt" and "Ciri", the most mentioned in "Cyberpunk 2077" is actually Geralt's horse - roach.
Not only can we see its stickers in photo mode, but we can also see cars with its logo, and arcade games with it as the protagonist.
"All you have to do is catch that damn train"
In the game's many information and documents, we can find a dialogue between two characters, one of whom is called little smoke and the other is called jc.
This is clearly an homage to the protagonist "cj" and the smoke king "big smoke" in the game gta: San Andreas. And not only that, but the easter egg recreates the most famous mission in gta: San Andreas: the protagonist chases a train in the company of big smoke.
If our mission fails, big smoke will say this classic line to us: "All you have to do is catch that damn train, cj!" ”
“bb”
In a mission called "Hunting", we will enter a clinic. If the player enters from the side of the building, climbs the fire ladder, and then enters through the window on the second floor, they will find the "bb" in Death Stranding in the room on the right.
If we scan "bb" with a prosthetic eye, we get the following information:

There is also a message in the game that introduces the player to a game called "no life 3":

"Three Shells"
The nearest Easter egg to the player is actually hidden in the protagonist's apartment. When we entered the bathroom of the apartment, we could find that there was no toilet paper in the entire bathroom, and instead there were three shells placed next to the toilet.
This strange-looking setting actually comes from Stallone's 1993 sci-fi film "Flying Dragon (aka Super X-Men)".
In the world of the movie, after committing a crime, people face not prison, but will be sentenced to "freezing". Stallone's X-Men sacrificed more than thirty innocent lives to capture the villain "Iron Phoenix", and was eventually sentenced to "frozen for seventy years", while Iron Phoenix was sentenced to "frozen for life".
As a result, in 2032, due to an accidental iron phoenix thawing and escaping, the crowd had to thaw Stallone in advance and let him arrest the iron phoenix.
When stallone's protagonist went to the toilet in 2032, he asked others why the toilet did not have tissue, and was ridiculed by everyone: "How can you not even use shells."
It turns out that in the world of movies, toilet paper is no longer produced for environmental protection needs, and people use shells to deal with hygiene needs in the bathroom, and shells placed next to the toilet in the game also play this role.

As one of the ancestors of cyberpunk, Blade Runner can be said to be the most borrowed and homaged work in the game. In addition to the description at the beginning, the reproduction of the most famous scene in the film, "tears in rain".
In the main line, we can also find a hotel named after the film's replicant villain "Roy Batty", and the origami model from the movie can be seen on the façade of the hotel.
At the same time, the girl whom jack is obsessed with in the game, misty, is also imaged by Roy's robot girlfriend in Blade Runner.

In the mission "Heisenberg Principles" we can investigate a drug called "glitter".
On the one hand, "Heisenberg" is the pseudonym of Walter, the protagonist of the American drama "Breaking Bad", and on the other hand, the drug "glitter" involved in the mission is also exactly the same in composition and purity as the legendary drug "Blue" made by Walter.
"Room 237"
The Supernatural Horror Film, based on Stephen King's novel of the same name, The Shining, is considered by the world to be the greatest horror film of all time.
The boy played by Danny Lloyd discovers a dead woman in the bathroom of Room 237 is one of the most famous scenes in the film.
In the early part of the game we encounter a room labeled 1237, where we are able to find a woman lying in a bathtub, which is obviously a hint at the same plot in The Shining.

As a work that also depicts the cyberpunk worldview, Cyberpunk 2077 also has a lot of homages to Ghost in the Shell. The most nonsensical of these should be the icon in the upper right corner when we talk to judy on the phone.
When talking to Judy, her icon is "a ghost in a shell", and the English name of Ghost in the Shell is "ghost in the shell", which is "ghost in the shell", which is quite obvious at first glance.

Night City is full of consumerist ads and pitfalls, one of which is TV ads that encourage us to buy more styles of clothes.

This picture is almost exactly the same as the scene in The Matrix when neo asks for weapons, except that in the movie these shelves are filled with all kinds of equipment.
In addition to these elements added to the game world or mission, the two places with the most densely distributed Easter eggs in the game are the photo mode and the talent skill icon.
In the photo mode, we can choose the pose movements of the characters, and these movements are actually very stalked. From sailor moons, to jojo stands, the dance of the movie Joker, the praise of the sun in Dark Souls, and the gun-holding action of James Bond.
In addition, it also pays tribute to "South Park", "Waiting for Godot", "Titanic", "Pulp Fiction" and many other works.
The icons for talented skills are also very obvious, including Bullet Time in The Matrix, Unicorns in Blade Runner, Sitting Posture in Eva, Doctors in Back to the Future, and V-Handers in Star Trek.
Speaking of which, even friends who have not played it can probably feel how huge the number of Easter eggs in the game is.
But seriously, the more easter eggs, the better, just like I think the vast majority of easter eggs in Cyberpunk 2077 are actually "too blunt" and "too rigid", and many times game designers just paste text and graphics in the game and are afraid that we will not find out, which loses some of the fun of finding special easter eggs.
