Paris Saint-Germain continues their 100% unbeaten record in the new Ligue 1 and beat Montpellier 2-0 in the French capital.
The Parisian took the lead in the 14th minute through an unlikely source of up frontcourt coordination when Idrisa Garner Gaie unleashed a fierce attack on Montpellier's goal, almost knocking the net over.
However, the favourites didn't go exactly their own way, with Keller Navas being asked to make a strong save around the 60th minute to keep his team ahead. Mauricio Pochettino made two changes towards the end of the game to check out the last few minutes, and his decision paid off immediately.
Julian Draxler, the player was almost in contact with the game for almost his first time. Picked up the ball inside the box and beat goalkeeper Jonas Omlin to a killer match and gave Paris Saint-Germain another victory. The victory gave Pochettino's side a 24-point lead, already 10 points ahead of second-place Marseille.
