Traxxas' original drag slash extra-long detachable head wheel (part number 9460), offering five settable positions, two size wheels and a simulated design, is not only beautiful but also powerful, helping the drag slash linear accelerator to cross the finish line stably. The drag slash's head-up wheel can be purchased and mounted separately for low center of gravity (lcg) bandit, rustler, rustler 4x4, slash 4x4 and 2wd slash.
Two mounts are included in the assembly. The base with anti-ski plate in one can be mounted on bandit, 2WD rustler and LCG modified 2wd slashes with the original magnum 272 gearbox. If you have upgraded to the pro series magnum 272r, you can use a base without a shield.

The new mount is also compatible with the head-up wheel (part 3678) and acts as a support when the model car rolls over.
Wheel size selection: The head-up wheel includes 18mm wheels that are interchangeable with the installed 26mm wheels, and the two size wheels are combined with the five positions of the head-up wheel to achieve ten height settings to fine-tune the tightness of the wheels to the track.
The installation of 4x4 slash and rustler, by adding a stampede 4x4 head-up wheel bracket (part number 6777), can also be mounted on a rustler 4x4 or slash 4x4.
The standard chassis' 2wd slash can be equipped with drag slash head wheels by removing the rear bumper and attaching the rod to the existing bracket.
