Guizhou is the province with the longest stay and the most imprints during the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. The Red Army turned to Guizhou, and in this land, it not only sowed the seeds of revolution, but also formed a deep friendship with the masses. This red love affair spans more than 80 years and continues to this day. Let's first go to Pu'an County in Qianxian Prefecture to see a story.

Before the Qingming Festival, Gui Jingfu of Pu'an County, Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou, brought his family to the cemetery to visit his grandfather Gui Chongru, who was buried here. Gui Chongru, a young martyr, was the leader of the Tenth Squadron of the First Brigade of the Communist-led Jiang Self-Defense Army in southwest Qianxi. On November 16, 1949, 25 days before the liberation of Southwest Qianxi, Guizhou, he was unfortunately arrested and fell under the bayonet of the enemy, at the age of 28. Every time he paid homage to his grandfather, Gui Jingfu would reminisce with his family about a legendary story between the Gui family and the Red Army for generations.
No one in the Gui family had ever participated in the Red Army, but the Red Army had a deep impact on several generations of the Gui family, including Gui Chongru. In March 1935, after crossing the Chishui River four times, the Central Red Army began to move to Yunnan with all its might. During the day of April 21, the main force of the Third Army of the Red Army reached the village of Nibao at the junction of Yunnan and Guizhou. It was a village inhabited by many ethnic minorities, and under the influence of Kuomintang propaganda, the villagers were wary of the arrival of the Red Army. At that time, Gui Jingfu's grandfather Gui Chongru was only 14 years old, and when he heard that the Red Army had entered the village, he and the old and young of the family hid in the mountains, leaving Gui Jingfu's great-grandfather Gui Kuanli alone at home to guard. However, after the arrival of the Red Army, their words and deeds made the villagers realize that these people were different from other armies.
Luo Shang, director of the Cultural Relics Bureau of Pu'an County, Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou Province, said: "Only a very small number of officers and soldiers stay in the homes of ordinary people, most of the other officers and soldiers live in the streets of Mud Fort, and the whole street sleeps with people. ”
Chen Gang, secretary of the party branch of Nibao Village, Louxia Town, Pu'an County, Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou Province, said: "When the Red Army came to our place, they saw the mosque, which was a relatively magnificent building, and was ready to set up the headquarters in this place. It was then learned that it was a place for religious activities, and in order to respect national beliefs and national customs, it was immediately decided to reorganize the headquarters. ”
The Red Army requested that the headquarters be set up in the Gui family, and Gui Jingfu's great-grandfather Gui Kuanli was very touched to see that they were strictly disciplined and qiu had committed no crimes, recalled his family, and not only opened his home to the Red Army, but also took out the good thing that the local Hui people used to entertain distinguished guests- the basket of tea to entertain the Red Army. Basket tea, is today's ancient tree tea, when the mud fort village every house in front of the house are planted, in order to entertain the Red Army, the Gui family also used the most traditional and complex tea brewing techniques.
The Red Army spent one night at Gui Kuanli's house, and the next day when the Red Army set out to leave, an unexpected thing happened.
Gui Jingfu, a descendant of the Gui family, said: "When the Red Army was leaving, we asked our family to count what was missing. ”
As soon as Gui Kuanli's family counted and found that the teapot that had been boiled the previous day was missing, they told the Red Army. I thought it was just a casual remark, but the Red Army soldiers recognized the truth, and before they could help find it, they gave them their own teapots. However, the Gui family soon found the missing teapot, but they could not return the Red Army's teapot.
Gui Jingfu said: "As soon as our family found the teapot, they treasured the teapot left by the Red Army and passed it down from generation to generation. Ancestors have said that the Red Army is strictly disciplined, cares for the poor, will help the poor to turn over, will serve the poor, and they are an army dedicated to serving the common people. ”
The Red Army only stayed in Nibao Village for a short day and one night before leaving, continuing westward into Yunnan, and no one expected that this short contact would plant the seeds of revolution in the heart of 14-year-old Gui Chongru. Every word and deed of the Red Army, especially those simple revolutionary principles, were imprinted in his mind and deeply affected the second half of his life. As an adult, he joined the communist-led First Brigade of the Jiang Self-Defense Army in Southwest Qianxi and became the leader of the Tenth Squadron, waging armed struggles around Southwest Qianxi. In early February 1949, when he joined another guerrilla force, Gui Chongru shouted a slogan welcoming the Red Army without hesitation.
Xu Shuqiong, head of the red culture excavation and compilation working group in Xingren City, Qianxian Prefecture, Guizhou Province, said: "At that time, everyone was stunned, because 1949 was more than 14 years apart, which shows that in Gui Chongru's mind, no matter how many years are every other year, the revolutionary team of the Red Army helps the people and makes the poor turn over, and the influence of this team is forever and everlasting in his mind." ”
A few days later, Gui Chongru and more than 300 comrades-in-arms joined the underground party organization of the Xingren Luji camp riot. He not only participated in the opening of warehouses and the release of grain, but also gave an impassioned speech.
Gui Jingfu said: "In his speech, he called on everyone to oppose Chiang Kai-shek and the local bullies, and called on the peasants to actively arm themselves and fight against the forces that oppress the people. ”
After the Luji camp rioted, in order to rescue an arrested comrade, Gui Chongru was not afraid of danger and secretly entered the county town of Xingren, which was tightly controlled by the enemy. However, on November 16, 1949, he was accidentally recognized by the enemy and unfortunately arrested.
Xu Shuqiong said: "Gui Chongru was very famous in Xingren at that time, and even in southwest Qianxi, and the Kuomintang county magistrate instructed him to shoot him immediately. Gui Chongru was extremely heroic, and when he was arrested, more and more ordinary people were watching, and he immediately shouted 'Down with the Kuomintang' and 'Long live the Communist Party of China'. ”
Ma Dacong, the son of Gui Chongru's comrade-in-arms Ma Rui, said: "Those people will not let him shout, and when they shout, they will stab him, and after more than two miles, they have become bloody people in the lotus pond, and many onlookers have shed tears." ”
Twenty-five days later, Southwest Qianxi was liberated, but the 28-year-old Gui Chongru died heroically and failed to see the victory. A house, a bowl of ancient tree tea, a copper pot, led to the red love of several generations, the red spirit was passed on, to Gui Jingfu's generation, the Gui family did not hesitate to take out the house and copper teapot, built the Red Army Long March Memorial Hall.
The encounter between the Gui family and the Red Army day and night has led to the red love of generations, and the spirit of the Red Army has been passed on. In The village of Lintan in Xishui County in northern Guizhou, the development of some local industries is also inextricably linked to the soldiers of the Red Army.
Near the Qingming Dynasty, in the village of Litan on the banks of the Chishui River, a cluster of grapefruit trees began to bloom with clusters of white flowers. Before the grapefruit blooms, villager Song Guangping has an important job of cutting branches from one of his own grapefruit trees to help villagers in need to graft.
Song Guangping's father, Song Jiatong, was in Jiangxi, and when he returned to his hometown in the 1980s, he found that the grapefruit in his hometown was large and sweet, and he thought that the soil quality of the beach was similar to that of his hometown, so he tried to bring a grapefruit seedling back to plant, but he did not expect that one would succeed. Song Jiatong was a Red Army soldier, and in order to commemorate him, the village named this grapefruit red army grapefruit.
In 1931, Song Jiatong joined the Red Army and joined the Communist Party of China in Jiangxi, followed the Red Army to begin the Long March in 1935, and then entered Guizhou. In order to ensure the smooth crossing of the Yangtze River by the Red Army, in February of that year, Song Jiatong joined the Qianbei guerrilla group in Xishui, and after the Central Red Army was cut off, he was seriously injured in his left foot in the battle shortly after, left the team, and was taken in by a local family of ordinary people, ran Wu's family.
At that time, the enemy was sweeping around, and the Ran Wu family only carried Song Jiatong to a cave not far away every day to hide. For more than a year, Song Jiatong recovered from his injuries with the help of Ran Wu's family. During this time, he learned that there were many red army wounded in the village of Lintan, 40 kilometers away, so he decided to go to The Beach to find the organization. With firm faith, Song Jiatong walked to the village of Lintan and joined more than 100 Red Army wounded. These Red Army wounded, with the help of the villagers of Lintan Village, gradually recovered.
Liu Guoqiang, partner of the Professional Cooperative of Planting Farmers in Chite Township, Xishui County, Guizhou, said: "At that time, due to the lack of materials, there was no good thing to supplement the nutrition of the Red Army, so we used brown sugar to boil brown sugar water to feed the Red Army, supplementing them with some nutrition and some medicinal value." At that time, more than 100 wounded people were saved with brown sugar, and later, our brown sugar here was changed to Red Army sugar. ”
With the selfless help of the common people, Song Jiatong and his comrades-in-arms took back a life. Let the people live a good life, such a belief is even firmer. After that, Song Jiatong held a secret meeting here with the former party members of the troops who remained in The Village of Lintan to recuperate, restored and connected organizational relations, and established the underground Party of the Communist Party of China, the Red Army Branch of the Cpc, in his own home, to continue to run around for the revolution, and at the same time, the spark of the revolution also spread. Liu Fuguo, who was nearly 90 years old, was one of the party members who developed the underground party branch that year.
Liu Fuguo, a party member of Lintan Village in Xishui County, Guizhou Province, said: "The Red Army lives in the homes of ordinary people, and when they get up at dawn and finish walking, they don't know that the people's houses are all lived in by one family. I joined the party precisely because I saw that these cadres of the People's Liberation Army and the land reform were all communists, and I had great respect for them. ”
Today's Song Guangping not only grows grapefruit, guards the ruins of the temporary party branch established by his father, but also makes Red Army sugar, and is a famous sugar master in the village. In The village of Lintan, the Red Army grapefruit has developed to more than 300 acres, and the Red Army sugar has become an industry, and with these red resources, the village has been lifted out of poverty and become rich.
Every year in the Qingming Dynasty, Song Guangping would bring a cluster of grapefruit branches to pay homage to his father to the site of the Battle of Qingbanpo not far away, where his father Song Jiatong's comrades-in-arms were buried. The white grapefruit flowers carry the mourning from their hometown and also comfort the heroes and martyrs, where they once struggled, and the people lived a good life.
Red Army sugar, Red Army grapefruit, in Guizhou, there are many place names and products named after the Red Army, behind each name there is a touching red story, each name is pinned on the local people's love for the Red Army. The spirit of the Red Army has taken deep root in this land. When the Red Army came here, it was to let the people live a good life, and today, the red industry is not only the inheritance of the spirit, but also the path to prosperity, which is making the people's life better and better.
