From September 27 to 28, the third Hunan Provincial Criminal Technology Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held at the Hunan Police College. The competition focused on the assessment of forensic technology electronic physical evidence, 14 cities and states selected by 42 outstanding players to participate in the provincial finals, after two days of fierce competition, decided to determine the individual first prize 1, 5 second prizes, 10 third prizes, will be awarded in accordance with the prescribed procedures "Hunan Province May Day Labor Medal", "Hunan Province Youth Post Expert", "Hunan Province Towel Meritorious Pacesetter" and other high-level honorary titles. In the end, the Changsha Municipal Public Security Bureau, zhuzhou city public security bureau, and Zhangjiajie city public security bureau were listed as one, two, three groups, and Chen Jun of zhuzhou city public security bureau, Zhang Shuo, and Liao Xiaodong of Changsha city public security bureau were listed as one, two, and three individuals.
Hu Ying, director of the sixth technical room of the Criminal Investigation Corps of the Hunan Provincial Public Security Department, is one of the referees of the competition, and he introduced to reporters that the competition lasted for two days, the afternoon before was a theoretical examination, and the next day was a practical test. Hu Ying said that the competition simulated that the victims suffered from virtual currency investment fraud, and the contestants needed to collect and investigate the victims' mobile phones through technical means, analyze the criminal dens of telecommunications network fraud, and then determine the true identity of the suspects, so as to find out the entire chain. The reporter saw at the scene that the "competition system" on the big screen can display the results of the contestants in real time, "every time the contestants do a question, the scores will be updated in real time." Hu Ying said.
Another referee of the competition, Xiong Silong, is a professional police officer in electronic physical evidence at the Criminal Investigation Corps Research Institute of the Hunan Provincial Public Security Department. He said that the theme of the competition is "electronic physical evidence", hoping to make "electronic physical evidence" known to more people, and also hope to cultivate more excellent police officers related to this profession.
