There are two types of science fiction movies that Pi ge likes the most, the universe space class, the robot class, regardless of the investment cost, as long as the reputation is not particularly bad will watch.
Good science fiction films can not see the size of the scene, short and pithy films can also produce fine products, such as "The Moon", "Source Code", "This Man from the Earth", "Flies", are low-cost blockbusters.

After this year's science fiction film "The Wandering Earth" opened the movie-watching boom of domestic audiences at the beginning of the year, the originally confident "Shanghai Fortress" ended with a huge loss of 200 million, which suddenly hit the bottom of the domestic film fans' enthusiasm for watching movies.
Fans can't help but sigh, is there no science fiction film to watch this year except for "The Wandering Earth"?
Of course not, Pigo was recently put on a Netflix film that did not go through the theater by Amway, called "My Mother".
The film currently has a freshness rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and a popcorn index of 73%, which is a good result.
Although there are only two leading actors, there are Oscar (two-time) and Golden Globe Awards double film actress "Million Dollar Baby" Hillary Swank sitting, Pigo also watched this film because of her recommendation.
The heroine is the post-95 actress Clara Luja, and the director Grant Spithor is a newcomer.
The script is bold and well worth seeing

The film tells the story of Earth after the human extinction event, in a closed laboratory, a robot selected one of 63,000 human embryos to breed a baby girl.
The baby girl grew up under the care of robots, who called her "daughter" and girls called robots "mothers".
Robots teach girls walking, language, writing, art, and various survival skills.
The robot mother told her that human beings were eventually extinct because of mercenary and selfishness, which led to cannibalism.
But before the extinction of the human race, the breeding program was initiated, controlled by robots, responsible for cultivating new humans of high moral character, so as to avoid the recurrence of tragedy.
As a girl grows up, she needs to be tested by robots on a regular basis.
One of the topics highlighted was quite interesting.
Says assuming there are 5 patients in urgent need of organ replacement who are waiting for an organ transplant. At this time, there was a new patient, and his illness could be cured, but the organs on his body just matched the 5 people.
Are you a doctor, do you want to save this person and let those 5 people die because they don't get their organs, or do you give up the treatment of this new patient and use the organs on his body to save the other 5 people?
The girl was embarrassed by the question, but also gave her own answer, which she thought was worth saving based on the qualities of these people.
For the girl's answer, although the robot mother did not think so, what happened next was to consider their choice.
A rat breaks into the chamber and is caught by the girl, and just as she is excited to see a lowly animal for the first time, the robot mother finds out and without saying a word, directly puts the mouse into the incinerator and burns it to ashes.
The robot's reason is not to allow people and embryos in the lab to risk contracting bacteria and viruses, but for the girl, this is the first time in her life that she is dissatisfied with her mother.
The mother said that the outside world was full of deadly viruses and that all life could not survive, but there were rats sneaking in, which proved that the mother was lying.
In order to verify for herself, she put on her isolation suit while her mother was "asleep" and opened the laboratory door to go out to see.
At this time, an injured woman suddenly came to the outside of the warehouse door, which shocked the girl very much, the robot mother said that the human race has become extinct, but where did a woman come from?
The robot mother also quickly discovered the existence of this woman, and she insisted on locking up this woman first.
Because of the same kind of pity, the girl helped the woman heal the gunshot wound on her body and quickly gained the trust of the woman.
The woman tells the girl that it was a robot like the mother who killed all the humans outside, and that it was only to train new humans like the girl to come out and use her as a test object.
The girl listened with half-belief, but she was clearly more willing to believe women's words, just because she was also human.
So she needed to find a way to verify who was saying it was true, and she secretly opened the lab's database and soon found out that before she was born, there were actually other baby girls in the lab, but where did they go?
The girl thought of the incinerator and went inside the furnace to rummage, only to find that she had touched a chin bone.
That is, humans were already being bred in the lab before the girl was born, but both girls before her were killed by robots because they were unqualified.
If the girl can't pass the test one day, then she will follow in the footsteps of the two girls.
So in order to survive, she must escape with the woman and go with the human beings who are still alive on Earth.
But there was also a problem in front of her, that is, a new embryo was still being cultivated in the laboratory, which was the younger brother of the girl's own choice.
The woman told her to escape together and then find other humans to come and save her brother.
So the girl believed the woman's words and escaped with her.
However, when they finally escaped from the secret room and came to the sea where the woman lived, the girl found that there were no other human beings in this world except women and herself.
The woman wants the girl to live with her, so she makes up stories of humans fighting robots to deceive the girl.
But the girl still can't let go of the newborn brother in her heart, and she decides to go back to save her brother, even if she can't save her life, she will die with her brother.
So the girl finally returned to the laboratory alone, once again facing her mother, who was holding the baby boy in her arms.
The movie is a big reversal here, and it turns out that all this is a bureau of mother cloth.
We have seen the robot mother's every move before, which seems to be less of a robot than a human being.
How to say it? For example, it needs to "sleep"; it always runs the train with its mouth full, and most of what it says to the girl is not true; it neglects to manage the laboratory and does not know that the rats are not known; it is always aware of the things that the little girl does secretly, which are not the mistakes that robots will make.
The only explanation is that the robot mother made a deliberate mistake, including putting a rat in; letting the woman in to alienate her relationship with the girl; and letting the girl run away with the woman, all for the purpose of giving the girl the ultimate test.
The girl eventually risked her life to return to the laboratory in order to save her brother, which is a manifestation of self-denial and noble morality that the previous two subjects had not been able to do.
Therefore, the girl is the purest life cultivated by the robot, and she has the most important excellent qualities of human beings, and she is also the object that can pin human hopes.
In the end, the robot lets the girl shoot herself, completing the transition of power, and from then on the girl will become the master of this laboratory, and she will shoulder the burden of creating a new human society.
However, there are still some details in the movie that cannot be said, one is that although the robot mother was shot by the girl, it is actually an artificial intelligence that exists in the entire laboratory, and the "mother" is only a clone of it, and all the robots are actually controlled by this central artificial intelligence.
The woman outside was actually an experimental product that her mother had bred before, and the reason why her mother kept her was only to complete the test on the girl.
When the girl passed the test, the woman was useless, so she also died at the hands of her mother.
The brilliance of the story of "My Mother" lies in the fact that it carries a lot of philosophical thinking and discussion of human nature, although there are only two women and a baby boy, and the scenes are mostly concentrated in a confined space, the story is well told.
There are two points that Pi ge is more dissatisfied with, one is that the acting skills of the post-95 heroine Clara Lujia still need to be honed, the expression on the face is too single, and most of the time the whole time is a confused face and lacks layers;
Second, the new director's grasp of the rhythm of the film is still lacking, the overall is too dull, and the plot will be much better if it is richer.
But the flaws are not hidden, the completion of the film is still very high, as a Netflix movie, it is already very good.
