According to the athletic shams, several sources revealed that the 2008 NBA leader Michael Beasley agreed to play for the Blazers in the Las Vegas Summer League in August this year.

In July last year, Beasley signed with the Nets until the end of the season, but then the contract was terminated due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Beasley last played in the NBA was in the 2018-19 season, playing in 26 regular season games for the Lakers, averaging 7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game.

After leaving the Lakers, Beasley briefly played for the CBA Guangdong team, making 5 appearances, averaging 22.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.2 blocks per game.
