The China Meteorological Administration issued a winter climate forecast, it is expected that this winter's cold air activities affecting China are frequent, the force is strong, the overall temperature in the central and eastern regions is mainly cold, and the precipitation is generally distributed in the north and south. Among them, in December 2021, most of the national temperature is close to the same period of the year or high; from January to February 2022, the cold air activity will be significantly stronger, and the temperature in most parts of central and eastern China may be lower than the same period of the year, and the possibility of a stage of extreme cooling events is greater. There may be a staged process of strong cooling and heavy snowfall in the northeast, north China, the eastern part of the northwest region, and the northern part of Xinjiang, and the eastern part of the southwest region and the western part of Jiangnan may have staged low-temperature rain, snow and freezing weather.

Through the analysis of 15 La Niña events in history since 1951, the meteorological department found that there were 10 La Niña years in which the winter temperature in China was low, and 5 la Niña years were on the high winter temperature in China. That is to say, after the La Niña incident, the probability of china's winter being cold is greater.
