When we look at this west lake story today, we can at least draw a few conclusions: First, through Mr. Chen Yinke's "Liu Ru is a Biography", a small literary history of the interaction between men and women in the Ming and Qing dynasties has expanded the scope of traditional Chinese literature and deepened our understanding of the spiritual history of Chinese literature. Second, the research method of classical and modern events founded by Mr. Chen Yinke is a powerful tool for us to reinterpret classical literature, which on the surface seems to be the text of the wind and snow, with characters and stories behind them, and the spiritual singing of talented women in Jiangnan. Ancient Chinese literature is by no means all mountain and forest literature, aristocratic literature and temple literature, nor is it only wind, flowers and snow.
