In the 18th minute, Morata broke through and passed the ball, and Canales scored a low shot inside the penalty area to give Spain a 1-0 lead.
The Netherlands equalised in the 47th minute when Wendal passed the ball, neither the defensive nor the attacking players touched the ball in the middle of the road, and Van de Beek's right-footed shot from the back point made it 1-1.
