Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau led members of the new government to take the oath of office in the capital Ottawa on the 26th.

The new government consists of 39 members, two more than the previous government, of whom nine are new members. Seven ministers remained in their positions in the previous government, including the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Northern Affairs, and the Minister of Indigenous Affairs. Christia Freeland continued as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, former Minister of Economic Development and Official Language Affairs Melanie Jolly as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Anita Anand as Minister of Defence.

There are 19 women in the new Government. Canadian media believe women will play a "key role" in the new cabinet.

Trudeau said on social media on the same day that the newly formed team will work to end the new crown epidemic, protect public health, combat climate change and create jobs.

In the Elections to the House of Representatives of Canada on September 20, Trudeau's Liberal Party won 159 seats, maintaining its position as the largest party in the House of Representatives, and Trudeau was once again prime minister.
