Bayern Munich and 30-year-old Croatia international Ivan Perisic have officially signed. The World Cup runner-up immediately moved from Inter Milan to Bayern Munich on loan. The contract is valid for one year and until 30 June 2020, Bayern Munich has a unilateral buyout thereafter.
Sporting Director Salihamidzic said: "Ivan has a wealth of experience in top international competitions and can help us immediately. He is highly skilled and very flexible on the offensive line. I'm sure Ivan will be integrated into the squad soon because he knows both the Bundesliga and our manager, Kovac. ”
Prior to his move to Serie A in 2015, Perisic had already played for Borussia Dortmund and then Wolfsburg. In the summer of 2012, Perisic won the double with Borussia Dortmund. In 2015, he won the German Cup with Wolfsburg. In 2018, Perisic followed the Croatian national team all the way to the final at the World Cup in Russia, and finally lost 2-4 to France and won the second place.
On Monday night, Perisic underwent a medical examination on Sebona Avenue and completed his contract. He said: "I am delighted to be back in Germany to play. Bayern are one of the greatest clubs in Europe and we not only want to win the Bundesliga and the German Cup, but also to achieve good results in the Champions League. ”
