Zheng Chuan is 49 years old. Zheng Chuan hired lawyer Tian Wenchang, director of the Criminal Practice Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association, to defend his innocence, and during the trial, the two sides conducted a fierce defense against the exclusion of illegal evidence.
