On the morning of September 17, the discovery group came to a rectangular courtyard surrounded by four old-fashioned bungalows. In this small courtyard with a history of nearly 100 years, the first party branch in northeast China was born, the CPC Gou Bangzi Railway Branch, which is now the memorial hall of the CPC Gou Bangzi Railway Branch.

In 1924, the establishment of the Goubangzi Railway Branch strengthened the ties between various parts of Liaoning and the party organizations in the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan region, and Marxism-Leninism spread rapidly in Liaoning with the momentum of the fire.
After a hundred years, the old site of the battle of the Gou Gangzi Railway Branch is still standing. The memorial hall has stored a large number of precious historical photos, oil paintings, physical objects, cultural relics exhibits, etc., reproducing the scenes of struggle in that year, pulling the thoughts of the discovery group back to the era of deep suffering, and feeling the glorious history of the awakening, establishment, struggle and development of the Communist Party of China in the northeast region.
Here, the discovery group listened to a demonstration party lesson on the theme of "learning the history of the party, remembering the original heart, and undertaking the mission". In the party class, Chen Ying, a young teacher at the Party School, told the discovery group about the "The Foundation of the Strength of Chinese Communist Party Members", which was simple and sonorous and powerful; Yang Yufeng, a retired veteran party member, told the red historical story of the Goubangzi Railway Branch with deep feelings, which baptized the soul of the discovery group.
The members of the discovery group also watched the sitcom "Spark "Liao" Yuan" written, self-directed and self-performed by the teaching staff of the party school, which reflected the history of the construction and development of the Goubangzi Railway Branch, which benefited everyone a lot.
The red fertile soil nurtures the spirit of Xiaodong
On the afternoon of the same day, the discovery group came to the Xiaodong Spiritual Education Base to listen to the history of struggle and development of Xiaodong Station for more than 70 years. The Xiaodong spirit of "not bad at all, almost not at all" left a deep impression on the discovery group.
The pennants, medals and awards in the honor room witnessed the glorious history of Xiaodong Station and made the discovery team sigh.
In the old operation room, the staff reproduced the scene of the railway receiving and dispatching operations in the 1970s, and found that the group stopped to watch and sighed at the rapid changes in the railway.
In the seminar room, the discovery group carefully watched the "Xiaodong Story" micro-film. The micro-film takes the memories of the old worker Hong Ruiwu as the main line, telling the story of him learning the rules and regulations under the guidance of his master, never recognizing the apprentice, and finally becoming the spiritual inheritor of Xiaodong.
After watching the movie, I found that the mood of the group could not be calmed for a long time.
At Xiaodong Station, the China Railway Cultural and Labor Troupe also sent a cultural feast to the cadres, workers and discovery groups, which won everyone's applause.
