According to CNN news on November 6, after months of tug-of-war, the US House of Representatives passed a bipartisan infrastructure bill worth $1.2 trillion (about 7.68 trillion yuan) worth 228 to 206 votes on the evening of the 5th local time, which will soon be sent to Biden for signature and become law.

The bill is an important part of the Biden administration's economic agenda.
The bill reportedly calls for a significant increase in U.S. investment in federal infrastructure, which mentions that about $550 billion will be added over five years to build transportation infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and ports.
The plan also includes "investing $65 billion to improve facilities related to broadband Internet" and "investing tens of billions of dollars to upgrade water supply systems, power grids, and other systems." In addition, $7.5 billion of that will be used to build a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations in the United States.
The report mentioned that 13 Republican House members voted in favor that night, while 6 Democratic house members voted against. Biden is expected to sign the bill in the coming days.
In March, Biden proposed the massive infrastructure plan, which was $4 trillion at the time. Republicans, however, are bitterly unhappy with this option. After a tug-of-war between the two sides in Congress, the White House first reduced the plan to $2.3 trillion and then forced it to shrink to about $1 trillion.
